"Our client contracted with Crescent City Tree to do some minor pruning of one orange tree and one magnolia tree on January 7th. He was contacted the morning of January 10th to let him know that we were sending a crew to take care of the pruning that he had requested since we had a job get rescheduled that morning. Client was called, left a voicemail, and texted to let him know that we had a job get rescheduled and that we would be able to take care of his small pruning job. Our arborist set up the crew and told them exactly what he and client had discussed during the initial consultation. The client called back while the crew was cleaning up and let the arborist know that he wanted to be there, but unfortunately the pruning was complete. I called the client to apologize due to his apparent dissatisfaction for not being able to be present and I was hung up on. We routinely leave voicemails and text messages when we cannot reach customers via telephone. We were not told that he wanted to be present during our initial consultation. Some customers want to be present, and some do not. This was an unfortunate set of circumstances beginning with our intended job having to be rescheduled due to Entergy working in front of our customers house, our crew being around the corner to the client when we called him and his unavailability via phone, text, and voicemail that morning.
