Romanos appliance

I do NOT recommend Romano’s. I had problems with my LG fridge’s icemaker. It wasn’t making ice. I put a message on Angie’s list and Romano’s responded. This was on a Sun and they sent Branden Rodi out. He took my icemaker apart and said he had to order a part and I had to pay him $50 for the service call. He took pictures to send to Dwayne, who is the owner. He said they had to order the part and would be back the next day. I waited all day and didn’t hear from them. I finally called and got his wife and told her we’d like to go out and eat but didn’t want to leave if he was coming. She said to go and she would get in touch with him and he would be there later. Seven-thirty came and he hadn’t showed up. I sent a text to find out what was going on. He said my water valve was rusted under the sink and I needed a plumber before he could fix the fridge. I told him I was disappointed that someone didn’t have the curtesy to give me a call to let me know what was going on and I think I might have picked the wrong company from Angie’s list. I had no idea that I needed a plumber? The water could have been turned off in the yard but guess he didn’t think of that. The text I got back from him said, “Already trying to bash someone it’s not like your fridge raider is not working and if I didn’t have any patience than call someone else” I asked if he was going to give me my $50 back and he said no, that was the service fee for coming out, but Branden told me that the $50. would be taken off the repair cost. The pieces of the ice tray are sitting next to my fridge for 2 days now and I have to find someone else to fix it. I have LOTS of patience when I know what’s going on. Sitting home and not being able to go anywhere waiting is NOT fun and disrespectful of a serviceman.
