My car wouldn't start, So I took the battery out and brought it to Auto zone to get checked and exchanged (Durolast Battery 2 year warranty) if it was bad. They checked my information in the computer and gave me a receipt and told me to come back in an hour. I asked why? They had to charge it first to see if it would take a charge. I was aggravated but, fine. I came back an hour later and they gave me the battery and said it was "good to go." I put the battery back in the car and it still wouldn't start. So I assumed the worst, alternator or starter. I had the car towed to my mechanic the next morning. He called me up a few hours later and said, "You had a dead cell. So we went ahead an brought it to Auto zone and exchanged it" What Auto Zone should have done i later found out was, after charging it, to put a load on it to make sure it wasn't a dry cell. They didn't do their jobs and it cost me.
