The service department is less than desirable, it seems very unorganized no one ever answered the phone you have to go in to make an appointment just for them to tell you to come back it's on a first-come first-serve basis I have a busy life just like everybody else that's why I went out my way to make an appointment so I can set aside time to make sure that my vehicle gets service properly it seems like every time I try to get my vehicle service through you guys it's always a hassle it's really disheartening.

The salesman, Joe, was thorough, did not push the sale. He made us feel comfortable and gave us plenty of time to think it over. The vehicle sold itself in so many ways and he helped us get the extras we wanted.

I arrived at the Ray Brandt Kia Service Center at approximately 8:15 AM. There were already about 4 individuals who were in the service waiting area. Within seconds of arriving a service representative approached me to ask what services I was seeking. I told the service representative that I wanted only an oil change. The service representative estimated the completion time within 1 hour. The service representative was polite and directed me into the waiting area offering me something to drink while I waited. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. My automobile was ready to go within 40 minutes. The car was pulled up to the waiting room and I was directed to the cashier. The service representive review the review of the automotive check (no additonal work was needed). I was on my way within minutes.

This ordeal lasted for years.
Initially after becoming aware of the knocking noises in my front end and becoming aware of the fact that there was a service bulletin out on this issue, I printed out a copy of the service bulletin (to be helpful in diagnosis) and brought my car to Ray Brandt. They were immediately condescending and dismissive of me but the warranty repair was done. 
9 months later, the very same problem occurred. After research, it seemed that the bushings may have not been replaced as I was told they were but were simply lubricated. The car was still under warranty so I brought it back. I was put off again and again as to why they could not listen to the noise in my car. After multiple times of my dropping by for them to hear the noise, I finally just blocked off some time to drop the car off and leave with them. I left the keys in the key drop and went three days with no calls from them and my voice mails went unreturned. After contacting a different service person than the one I was assigned, a very bizarre lie was concocted that involved the cleaning crew throwing my keys away-- it was all strange and baffling.
Ultimately, my keys were (of course) not thrown away by the cleaning crew. They said they did not hear any noise. My warranty expired and I had to pay a local auto repair out of pocket to fix the problem. This was one of the most maddening experiences Ive had with any new orleans company in any category. 
This place is awful.

For the second time, the blower, sunroof, ambient temperature display and seat warmers stopped working. I took it to Ray Brandt Mazda after finding them online. Keith was the service advisor that helped me through my problem. They quickly replaced the fuse, and then spent the rest of the morning trying to find the source of the problem. When they could not, they called the tech line and did everything they recommended. The problem is still unknown, but I appreciate Ray Brandt trying everything they could to help deduce the problem, and then explaining to me everything they did and his take on it. Keith also gave me great tips on how to treat and take care of my car - none of which the dealer told me when I first bought this car. And I am also happy how quickly Ray Brandt was able to respond to my problem. The next mornign after calling them they took my car and worked on it.
