Palatial Stone Inc

The problem we had with them was getting them to deliver the product when they said they would.  They were to deliver it on a Monday.  We went in and paid them the previous Friday(July 29th)  told them we would get the deliver the next Monday(Aug 1st) by noon.  They contracted a third party freight company to deliver it.  They did not provide us with this info.  Monday at noon, we still were without tile.  We left a message Monday and did not get a return call.  We called Tuesday, they gave us the freight companies contact information.  Palatial Stone gave the third party the wrong contact number us.  By the time we called the freight company on Tuesday, they told us that because we could not be reached they had taken the tile off the truck and the soonest it could be delivered was Wednesday.  We did get the tile at noon on Wednesday, but this had pushed back the job 2 days.  

The first two days that my husband had taken off were completely wasted.  We had the installer ready on Monday and had to push him back two days. We tried to call the owner of Palatial for 8 days straight.  Finally my husband was able to speak with the owner, Paul Romain.  When we explained what had happened - about having the incorrect contact number -  the number the freight company had been given was not on any of the paper work we had filled out with Palatial.  Had they had the information correct, the whole situation would have been avoided. The owner said it was not his responsibility and there was really nothing he could do.
