Orkin

They're okay, they're fine. They just don't give you much notice and I can never get off of work to be here. So they mainly do the outside. They're good. I didn't think they were very much different from the last company I used. I just feel like I could get more for my money if they give me notice so I could be here. They're very responsive. I brought them in because I had a problem and they eradicated the problem immediately. They're very professional.

They check outside the parameter wall to see if there's any termite activity and they come inside the house and they check all over. They take the flash light and put it in the ceiling and make sure that there's no trails or anything or if I'm having any problems they look into the little vent where the bathroom is and behind where I have my wash rooms and dryer and washer. They check to be sure there's no activity inside the pipe area and they do a pretty thorough job. The main thing is checking to be sure there's no activity around the home and they shouldn't be because of the fact that they treated it with the chemical activity about two or three years ago so I'm not really that worried about it. When they've come over and checked I have not had any termite activity. I've been them since I bought a new home. They are very prompt and they contact me ahead of time to let me know when they're coming and they always come on time.

I continue to use them because they've been pretty reasonable. I had them retreat the house with that chemical stuff that they have that you can't buy in the stores but only termite companies can used it. I had them retreat it with that so it's good for 15 years. It was a pretty good price. When they came for the inspection they told me it was like 20 years since I've had that kind of treatment around my house and I had not had any termite activities but they said I'm going to have to consider getting a special treatment done sooner or later because the chemical approved stuff that they spray around your home at that time licensed for 20 years and my 20 years was up. He worked out a discount and he said that he could do it for me at $1,200 instead of $3,000.

They have a bad habit of calling late the night before the day they're going to come out to do service. I'd like it if they could give me a little more notice so I can plan out my day.

I had termites and the price ORKIN wanted to charge to get rid of them was very high. We got some new kind of bug digging holes in the yard and Orkin didn't know what they were. I called another company who knew what the bug was, and told me we had termites in the garage. I switched to the other company because of that, and their price for termites was not nearly as high. Orkin is very professional and their quality is good. Their prices are high.

They are punctual. I am satisfied with their service.

They did their work, they put the tint over and did all that but they were not done with one of the gutters. My wife ended up having to call their main office to get them to put back on because the guy does not looked to have it done. The main office sent someone to fix it but the local guy kept him run around. When she called the main office with the problem, they took care of it right away.

I have used them for years. I used them in North Carolina and Virginia as well. I like everything about Orkin. The agents are very polite and knowledgeable. If I have a question and have to go to the central office, it's a good experience.

They are very professional and very good. I don't see any bugs or anything. They are very effective.

They told me everything was fine, then learned that the termites had eaten $80,000 worth of my home! I have had to do all the repairs done in my home because of Orkin. They will not help with the costs of the repairs, their contract says that also. I am giving this report so that everyone will know what happened, and not use them. I will never use them again!

I am under a contract with them, but I do pay them every 3 months.
