About us

Established in 1967 as “Wilton Dufrene, Land Surveyor,” Dufrene Surveying & Engineering, Inc. has been a family-owned business for over 45 years. We currently have 13 full-time employees: 2 professionally licensed Land Surveyors, 1 professionally licensed Civil Engineer, and 1 Land Surveyor Intern. DSE’s professionals are members of ACSM, NSPS, ASCE, LES, and LSPS. All licenses are through certification with the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board (LAPELS).

We offer professional Surveying services on a variety of projects and applications: Property Boundary Surveys, FEMA Elevation Certificates, Resubdivisions, ALTA Surveys, Builder's Packages for new developments, Topographic Surveys, Construction Layout, "No Work" Affidavits We provide a range of Engineering and coordination services: Drainage Design, Site Design, Sewer plans, Consulting for land development, Subdivision plans.
