Our mini split systems computer control board fried because of a power surge. River City came in an replaced the board, which was under warranty and recommended installing a surge protector on the breaker box. That cost us $1,100.00. Que six months later and another power surge fries the board AGAIN. Surge protector didn't do anything. Called River City to replace the board for no charge, since their labor and parts are under warranty and was met with a rude attitude. Had to wait a week for the tech to even come take a look at it. He said they'd order the board and replace it for free, but said the wiring was wrong on the outside unit and they could fix it for $800. Now it's been two more weeks without A/C, in August, in New Orleans and we haven't heard a peep out of River City on when they will come and install the new board and 'fix' the wiring. Would not recommend. Really terrible customer service and total lack of followup on anything.

They are very easy, very available, they will come the same day. Technicians are very nice.

They were very good, thorough, and nice to deal with. I have not dealt with them before and within two hours, they were out.
