Mayer, Dr. Russell P

I have been going to Dr Mayer for years for myself and my kids. Always have had a nice experience there. The ladies are professional and help make appointments go smoothly.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I love the office environment. The waiting room was cozy and the staff very friendly. Making my appointment was easy and when I arrived they informed me about how my bill would be affected by my type of coverage, so there were no nasty surprises afterward. My only negative feedback would be that I arrived 15min early to complete paperwork and had to wait almost 35min (20min after my actual appointment time) before I was seen even though it was pretty early in the morning and there couldn't have been many people there before me. I'm very happy with my treatment there, however. Dr. Russell Mayer has an excellent bedside manner and feel very comfortable making him my family's dentist from now on.

They told her that she had 6 cavities that needed to be filled. She didn't like the hygentist because they were kind of rough.  She went for a second opinion and they said her teeth were fine.

My family is changing dentists, and we were considering Dr. Mayer because he participates in our dental insurance plan.

My 20-year old daughter needed to have a check-up before returning to college, so she was our "guinea pig".  :)

Setting the appointment (for a new patient, even) was quick and easy, and the receptionist was very friendly and courteous.

My daughter said the office staff and Dr. Mayer himself were all courteous and professional.

They said the insurance should cover the visit, but it hasn't really been long enough for all that to go through, so I can't rate their "billing and administration", but I am not anticipating any problems.

Looks like our whole family will be switching to Dr. Mayer soon!

He is very professional. He has done great work for me. He also has a great staff under him that also do a very good job. They are also very clean and courteous.
