GUARANTEE BUILDERS

I called them up and asked them to look at my roof. They guy charges $125 just to come out. I asked him if he guarantees his work. He said, "Yes. The name of the company is 'Guaranteed Builders'." I asked him this before he came out. My decision to have him come out was predicated by his response that he would guarantee the work. He then came out to take a look at the roof and then said that he couldn't guarantee the work. He ran off into the sunset with my $125. He was very straight-forward. He didn't stay very long. He did give me an estimate. He promised to have one of his guys come back the next day to blow away all the leaves to get a better look at it, but they never showed. He called back 2-3 weeks later. I told him not to worry about it--that I had already found someone else to do the work. I can't work work with anybody I can't trust. I feel like he lied to me. A lot of companies give estimates for free. So, after a while, I just contracted someone else to come do the work for me who actually could guarantee the work.

Wonderful! Brett Sceroler was courteous and prompt in providing an estimate and describing the job. When I decided to contract with him for the work, he immediately told me the window in his schedule (a few weeks out) where he planned to fit us in. As that time approached, he called to set up the appointment and verify details of the job. He and his crew showed up on the day specified, completed the job by 2:30 that afternoon, and thoroughly cleaned up all debris from the removal of the old roof. He accomodated my last minute addition of an extra plumbing vent and my request for a water diverter over our front steps at no additional charge. The roof looks great, and it was a pleasure doing business with Guarantee Builders.
