This was one of those "Never paint your house again!" deals. DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! Ask any legit painter: Elastomeric paint is NOT meant to be used on wood. They painted our house during the rainiest December on record. Each time we questioned moving forward, they told us that it was fine to paint after a house had been dry for 24 hours — never mind that the wood was obviously soaked right through and would have taken many days to dry out. The next time it rained, the paint itself filled with water and stretched so badly that we were able to peel the paint right off with our hands. The window glazing had not hardened before they painted, so it remained soft. I discovered that because they did a terrible job cleaning the windows that I finally had to get out the ladder myself. They had to keep coming back for six months to do patch jobs, until we could not take their neverending presence any longer. Now, one year later, the paint has bubbled and peeled and we are probably going to have to sue them. I just found out that the state licensing board issued them a Cease & Desist in January. They are not supposed to be doing any work at all now. RUN!
