If they didn't do a good job my wife wouldn't take him over there. I think they are little expensive. We would continue to use them.
took her to the ER vet. She was stabilized and then Thursday morning we
had to pick her up and take her to Gretna Animal Hospital (GAH). We
texted Peggy, the office manager who has become a friend over the years
to let her know what happened. She met us at GAH and admitted our cat
into their hospital and notified Dr. Hesse who was on his way into the
office. After evaluating her, Dr. Hesse called me to let me know she
was doing better but that her blood sugar was still fluctuating and that
he was keeping her overnight for observation. Dr. Hesse often takes
the patients home with him! The next morning I was able to take my cat
home. Later over the weekend she developed a urinary tract infection so
I called Peggy who in turn notified Dr. Hesse who was not working on
Saturday but he prescribed antibiotics and made sure I had his cell
number in case I needed it over the weekend. My cat is doing much
better but I'll be taking her in Monday for Dr. Hesse to check her blood
sugar and take a urine sample if needed.
Because I help with the website (my idea since I love my vet's office), Dr. Hesse and I briefly discussed a few changes we may want to make. He also asked how my brother was doing. Dr. Hesse's brother is part of the physician's group at Ochsner that my brother uses. But we have known Dr. Hesse for over twenty years and he is just caring like that and so is the rest of the staff. They are family and they take excellent care of my "furry" family members!
