He called me back about 15 minutes after I called (you don't need to leave a message unless it is an emergency, I guess he uses caller id to call everyone else back).  Our air conditioner wasn't cooling and a bend in a pipe on our air handler was freezing over.  He said he could work me in the same day and would arrive in about 20 minutes and he was very prompt.  He was very polite and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue.  He added the freon we needed, added insulation to the pipe that was freezing over and washed/cleaned the condenser unit outside.  He also made sure to check the temperature from multiple vents to be sure that had fixed the problem.  I will definitely use him again!

I called at 7:00 am, and by 9:45 am, they had a new unit installed and working!  They gave us options, but our unit was 20 yrs old, so we decided the most efficient option was to replace it. They have come in past years to service our old one and have replaced parts in our attic. They have also done work at my mother-in-laws. I have recommended them to several people and am very, very pleased with Porta!

A new Condenser was installed by 8 PM.  I had called another service first and never received a call back.  I will always call Porta for all our Heating & Air needs in the future and recommend this company to others!

Bert was very professional, honest, and dependable.  He answered my call immediately and responded to my request for service with-in 2 1/2 hours of my 1st phone call.  He also called when he was on the way and was on time for the service.  He checked and cleaned the A/C unit inside and out, checked pressure levels, flushed drain, and only charged me an annual spring maintenance fee of $99 for the service call.  He also added me to his annual spring maintenance service call list, which will save me an additional 10% discount on future spring service.  

David was called to help fix another drywall installers poor quality of work. He was very prompt and attention to detail is second to none. He is also very personable and easy to work with. The painter he uses was very professional as well and i happened to know him from a few years back. Very good experience. I will use these folks again. Thanks

We called Porta Heating & Air on a Monday evening when our A/C quit cooling.  We had to leave to go out of town Tuesday at noon, but Mr. Hedges assured us he'd be out either that same evening or the next morning.  I was really surprised they'd be able to come out that quick in the middle of this July heat wave.  However, he came out that Tueday morning in plenty of time to check everything out and get us back up and running.
We've used Porta Heating & Air for over 20 years in our home and business, and have always been satisfied with their expertise, prices, professionalism and courtesy.
