Ray and his assistant were very knowledgeable about their work, respectful, polite, punctual and communicative.
Ray obtained the proper permits and inspection required. The only glitch was Entergy failing to come back out to turn our electricity back on at the end of the job. After waiting over 4 hours and numerous phone calls by both Ray and my husband, they finally came
turn our electricity back on. The electricians could have left but they hung around just to make sure everything was working. They could have taken care of another customer during those 4 hours. I was disappointed in Entergy's failure.
Ray was recommended to me by my a/c guy and I will definitely use his company again.

Because of my work schedule, we had to spread the job out over several weekdays when I was off and able to let Acustom's electricians in the house. Ray was very flexible and worked according to my schedule without so much as a gripe.
He was always respectful of our home while he was inside, and his team swept up their debris and took care to make sure things were tidy when the work was done.
The one issue we had, which I can scarcely fault Acustom Electric for, is related to the electrical service upgrade. Our utility company had to black out service to our home for the upgrade work to be done - Ray's office handled this work order - and then was supposed to restore it when done - another work order from Ray's office. There's a bit of confusion here, but the utility company insists the work order to restore service was dated for next year instead of this year. Why they wouldn't have put two and two together, I don't know (that would be another review altogether), but this meant our home didn't have power until around 10pm that evening. Like I said, I place this more at the feet of the utility provider than Acustom Electric, but I felt it important to mention. Ray was very apologetic about the situation; he was in constant contact with us and our utility company that evening attempting to mediate things, and he even made it up to us by installing some important outlets in our garage for parts cost only.
Overall, I can recommend Acustom with no reservations. Ray and his crew work hard and clearly have a great deal of integrity; on top of that, they're friendly people.
