Michael was an absolute professional. He found that the chimney was in good shape and pretty clean and ended up only charging for the inspection. Thanks for the prompt an excellent service.

Did a thorough job. Found multiple issues with the chimney that will require additional work. Although they are pricey, they appear competent and very professional. They not only clean the chimney but look for problems that need to be fixed.

The service was excellent. The technician was on time, polite and very informative as I had some questions about the use of the gas fireplace. I highly recommend this company! Very professional, courteous and reasonable for the service provided.

The inspection and cleaning went smoothly and efficiently. He provided a certificate of inspection, asked if there was anything else he could help us with, and cleaned up behind himself.

I wouldn't have anyone but Kevin come clean my chimney, he comes every year.  He was out here just this year around the end of October.  I referred them to my next door neighbor and he rebuilt their chimney.  It's about $150.  He does chimney sweep for me, and I ask him him to spray stuff that keeps it from sticking.  I would give him an A++++.  He is honest and he is trustworthy and he just does such a great job.  I just really like his work.  I think the price is wonderful, even if I could have somebody do it for less I wouldn't do it because I trust him.  He gets an A for everything.

I have nothing to compare it to as this is the first working chimney I have ever owned, but I believe that they did competent professional work.

Although I learned that my chimmney is not safe to burn firewood in right now, Kevin was very candid and helpful about what my options are about my chimmney.  I look forward to working with Kevin to have a safe fireplace.

This chimney was in dire need of a good cleaning and that's what it got;  The "fireplace smell" is totally gone and i'm now able to walk in my house without smelling "burned ashes" every time.  This company is extremely pleasant and easy to deal with;  Punctual, courteous, and very professional. They also offer seasonal reminders so i will be getting a card in the mail in the spring to have it cleaned if i feel the need.

Company called day before to confirm appointment. Called 30 minutes before arriving. Upon arrival to home, removed shoes!! Completed & paid, 45 minutes. Very professional.

Very good experience.  I gave a 'Fair' rating for punctuality only because my appointment was set for 'between 4 and 6', and they showed up just after 6.  However, they were considerate enough to call around 5 to let me know they were an hour out, which helped so I wasn't left in the dark the whole time.
Kevin was the chimney sweep, and his wife Teresa accompanied him.  They went to work immediately by covering the area in front of the fireplace and carefully making sure dirt & debris was contained.  He inspected our chimney from the top down and proceeded to clean.  The service was easier and quicker than I had anticipated - simply scrubbing and keeping a shop vac going to vaccum any flying dust.
While Kevin cleaned, Teresa advised us on repairs that were needed based upon Kevin's inspection.  They took photographs of the view inside the chimney from the top, showing us the areas of potential risk and advised on a suggested repair service.  There wasn't a pushy sales pitch, she just explained that there was a safer way to operate our fireplace and was very informative and helpful with my questions.  They were sure to emphasize that the repairs they proposed were not absolutely necessary, but simply insurance against a worst-case scenario.  They were also careful to advise us to use persons certified to do the job, whether it was them or not.
 
I rated 'N/A' on price only because this was the first time I'd had this done and I didn't shop around, so I don't know if the fee charged ($195) is competitive or not.  I do know we were about a 30-minute drive from their place of business, so that may have factored in.  I thought it was reasonable for a service we certainly couldn't do ourselves, and only need once a year.
 
The two of them were polite and friendly, and the work was done efficiently and in a totally non-obtrusive way.  We've asked for an estimate on the chimney repair and will certainly consider them for that work, should we decide to move forward with it.
For my first experience with this type of service, I was totally pleased and will definitely use and recommend them in the future.

Keith was incredible.  He was very professional you could eat out of the fireplace after he finished.  He cleanup any mess and repaired anything needing repair.

They were early & I almost missed them due to my phone ringer being turned off.  Kevin got started working immediately & his wife gave me a lot of explanations while he worked.  The chimney hadn't been cleaned in years so Kevin had his work cut out for him.  He even cleaned the glass doors & taught mr how to keep them clean.  Then he went to the roof to inspect.  He replaced the cap & filled the holes in the brick mortar. He had everything with him so he didn't have to make a second trip which would have included a $50 service call.  So I as very pleased with about that.  He also told me that other than a recommended annual inspection I would be good for years!  All in all, Kevin & his wife were great.  She was very knowledgeable as well.  I would recommend New Buck & will use them again.

Fireplace hadn't been used or cleaned for at least 13 years. Found this chimney sweep through Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) website, he was the only certified sweep listed. He and his wife arrived when promised, did everything promised and then some, were very careful to keep carpet covered and avoid tracking dirt and soot, and were quick and very professional. The inspection and cleaning combined was $130, painting the firebox (at my request) an additional $50, and they did an excellent job. They also repaired my broken fireplace door, and answered numerous questions regarding fireplace use, gas logs, etc. I will gladly contact them again and recommend them to others.
