"This year we have dealt with many delays on the manufacturing end due to COVID 19, which has complicated our process. Ms. [Member Name Removed] is correct that we were lacking in communication and did miss our deadline. With every new change that happens on the manufacturing end we have tried to adapt quickly. The back orders during this unprecedented time have grossly affected our ability to properly communicate timelines, but we have added contingencies to properly mitigate the problem from happening again. We are grateful that Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] gave us the opportunity to make things right and I'm very happy to hear that we were able to meet their needs after falling short."
"This damning review is an attempt to denounce Acadian Windows because Mr. [Member Name Removed] did not want to pay additional money for the required measures needed to work properly when lead paint is present. Acadian Windows is an EPA Lead Certified Firm Cert# NAT-F164478-1 and we only do things in compliance with EPA requirements. I have 3 project managers on staff that hold certifications for the Lead Renovation, Repair, & Paint Program RRP Certification. These are the only people I allow to test for Lead Paint. If lead paint is present and we perform work, these are the only people I allow to manage and enforce the required measures. Once an order is placed, it gets issued for final measurements. This is only done by one of my 3 project managers. At the time of measure we test for lead paint. If lead paint is present, we begin discussions of the required process and the additional costs associated with performing the work. Mr. [Member Name Removed] says [Member Name Removed], my salesman, instructed him that he would have to move furniture 2 feet back prior to installation, which is a general instruction our salesman give all prospects and has nothing to do with lead paint. Once again, I do not entrust salesman with the testing of lead paint or giving instructions for lead paint procedures. This is done by one of my 3 project managers who are certified to do so. Mr. [Member Name Removed]’[Member Information Removed] job was issued to my Project Manager Guy Schrieber Cert# R-I-61750-18-00001 and he informed Mr. [Member Name Removed] of the additional measures we would be taking because lead paint was present. That is when all of this began. I have spent thousands of dollars on certifications, training, and protective equipment to ensure Acadian Windows handles lead paint situations properly. My number goal is always the safety of both my customers and employees, which includes the dangers of lead paint. Mr. [Member Name Removed]’[Member Information Removed] condemnatory review is ridiculous and hurtful towards our family business. I want to point out that work was not performed for this customer and our reputation supersedes his malicious review."
