On May 8, 2024, Wayne Ransome from Star Point Home Improvement, LLC had roofers come and completely replace my 13 year old roof for $7,600. I paid out of pocket since I didn't have home insurance at that time. On May 12th while I was doing laundry, I noticed the hot water heater vent was not lined up right with my roof. The roofers came out that night and fixed the hot water heater alignment, but they didn't paint the bottom part of the vent on the roof. On May 19th, I took down the damaged sheetrock under my carport to fix it and I noticed the roofers covered up a hole instead of fixing the decking that was part of the job. On May 23rd, the roofers came out and fixed the hole in the decking. I told the roofer about the hot water heater vent and he said it didn't need to be painted and he didn't have a can of paint. I told Wayne about it and he said "I'm sure it doesn't need to be painted". So I have to pay out of pocket to get a can of paint and paint it even though painting is part of the replacing roof job. I don't recommend this company due to the problems I had with the roofers' work.
