I contacted Harrington's through Angie's List after my (former) regular plumber left me out to dry with respect to my little emergency. I was trying to fix a leak myself (huge mistake) and only made the situation worse. I figured, "no problem...I'll just cut off the water supply and get a plumber out here in the morning". As luck would have it, the cut off valve was faulty and enough water was leaking out to fill a 2 gallon bucket about every hour and a half. Not good. After contacting my (former) regular plumber and being told he couldn't help me on a Sunday night, despite advertising 24 x 7 service, I was able to find Mr. Ken Harrington through Angie's List. He came out within 30 minutes and was friendly, professional and thorough. He completed the job in about an hour and not only fixed my original problem, but he also replace the faulty water supply valve. And he did it for LESS THAN HALF of what my former plumber quoted me on the phone. I highly recommend Mr. Harrington and will use him for all my plumbing needs from this point on. Good customer service is so rare these days. Thank you Mr. Harrington and thank you Angie's List for helping me find him.

Learn from my very costly mistake!!! Research prices - with installation - from local diy big box store first!!! Answered my call. Came out one hour later. On time. Professional. Simple job completed within one hour. Left workspace clean. Problem was price charged. Garbage Disposal - $200 Labor - $250 Price for exact disposal at diy store - $149 and installation charge of $139. Difference of $162. Bottom line, he does fine work, but has astronomical charges.

BRILLIANTLY! I have had this problem in the past because the pipes are in a difficult configuration with far too many bends, turns and previous "fixes." Mr. Harrington and his son, Mike worked tirelessly to remove the clog, which way more complicated than it first appeared. They had to try a few different approaches but did not stop until the job was done. The charges were VERY reasonable for the 200% they put into the job. additionally, they came to see me within just a few hours of our initial contact, taking care of everything promptly and professionally. I would recommend them to ANYONE.

Worked a long time for a bad attempt at repairing a pipe. Whatever was done was a temporary fix to the problem. I called them two days later because the water was leaking again. He and his son arrived at my home later than was stated. This time whatever work (if anything was done) lasted two hours. Needless to say my phone calls have not been answered. WORST plumbing service!
