Very very disappointing. I emailed three very clear photos to the woman I talked to on the phone who was actually seemed very helpful. I just needed them to replace a corroded outdoor faucet that was stuck to the pipe, and she emailed me back that it would take about an hour. But When the plumber arrived I had to tell him what the purpose of the visit was and I knew he hadn’t seen the pictures because he told me he couldn’t replace it or even cut the pipe (which is true b/c it's old steel, not copper), instead would have to go into the wall and it would be a huge deal and much more expensive. I would never have scheduled them if I know they couldn't fix it within an hour (that's why i sent the pics). So he spent maybe 2 minutes on a partial fix, talked with me a few minutes and said he was going to try to get his manager to come down on the price. He went out to talk to him on the phone and more than a few minutes later finally came back just to tell me they wouldn’t go down on the price--a ridiculous $125 for almost nothing. He just loosened the handle and I had to take the part to hardware store and replace it myself. Under no circumstances would I use this company again.

Can't thank them enough. The two men on the job came by right away and fixed a broken standpipe. The pipe is between the meter and my main shut off, and with it broken the house had no water (also water was inundating the yard until it was stopped at the meter). It now looks and functions better than before. Again, very grateful.

They called me when they were on the way. They were on time. Spent time with me understanding what I wanted and advising me on a path forward for each job. The jobs were all done efficiently and without delay. Pricing was very good.

Manager was rude and arrogant. Told my client that he wasn't going to help fix the damages after his manager agreed to make it right.

Perfect. David arrived on time, was professional, and courteous. We had a couple of other plumbing companies come out and get estimates on the cost or repair. One said a new unit would be needed, and one said they did not know if a part could be found. We called B & D on a Thursday afternoon, and the hot water heater was repaired early Friday morning. I would highly recommend B&D Plumbing in Denham Springs.

I provided new fixture hardware, plumber provided labor and new parts for hot water line.  He arrived on time, worked steadily and completed the job in a timely manner.  I was very satisfied with the work provided.

Everything went fine as far as the work goes. The plumber was very professional, skilled, and efficient. The only reason I rated punctuality a B is because there seems to be substantial miscommunication amongst the workers. I called Tuesday, Sep. 8, and scheduled an appt. with the receptionist(?) for that Friday. I specified that the appt. had to be after 1:00P because I couldn't get off from work until then. I got the first call from the plumber Thursday morning saying he was on his way to install a water heater; I had to tell him our appt. was for the next day, and not for a water heater. I got a call Friday morning from a plumber saying he was on his way, and I had to again say the appt. was for after 1:00P. I got another call around 12:45P from the plumber saying he was sitting in my driveway. So, I had to leave work early and rush home.

Sewer backed up into tubs, sinks, etc on a Sunday morning. Called them and were at the house in 45 minutes. Were 2 of the most pleasant, courteous men. Had my problem taken care of in an hour. Would highly recommend.

We were very pleased with B & D's knowledge, responsiveness and patience tackling this job. This particular job was really a nightmare from start to finish (with absolutely no blame on B & D). After a lightning strike damaged our tankless water heater (among other things) we were forced to deal with our home insurance company and the manufacturer of our old water heater to try and find a suitable replacement option, which is easier said than done in a wonky 85+ year old home. We were so restricted by the cabinet space our water heater resides in and the lack of access to necessary venting components, that we actually had to return one replacement unit that wasn't able to be installed properly in the space and configuration we had available. B & D's service tech pointed us in the right direction of a supplier that finally helped us find a unit that could be installed successfully. We are very grateful for B & D's patience working with us and our insurance company through this entire process. From the initial repair service call to the final installation of a WORKING unit, everyone we interacted with from their company was extremely courteous and helpful. Their techs really went above and beyond on this one. Yay for hot water!
