They are the only people we will do business with. They do a good job. They are honest and reputable. They get the job done. They don't get you to do anything that doesn't need t be done, which is a lot of times these air conditioning guys do is try to get you to do more than you really need done. They don't. They just take care of whatever the problem is. If it needs to be cleaned, they will go ahead and clean it as part of the job. They don't make a big deal about it. They get it done and that's it. The workers are always professional.

Service is twice a year. It's on a plan. They check it in the spring and they check it in the fall. I think it was $120 to renew it for the next year. We've used them for years. It was fine.

The owner's name is Randy Hooper and he's a friend of mine. He came on a Saturday and the owner himself came out. He knows pretty much everything about air conditioners and it doesn't take him very long to diagnose what is wrong. He doesn't jack around the price; he is real fair. He is an all around great guy.

After we moved in 1995, we complained that that was a gurgling sound in the wall where the line air conditioner set runs. They came several times and either did not, or would not hear the sound. After numerous calls for burned our breakers, a replacement compressor and other such problems, we had to replace the entire unit in 2003. In 2006, the compressor on the new unit went out and we had that one replaced plus the condenser coils in the house. That new compressor just went out (10/08/2009) and we have to replace the entire unit. We also just discovered that there is a kink in the line set which has been causing high pressure throughout the system. If this had been addressed in 1995, we wouldn’t be going through our third air conditioner (fifth compressor) in 14 years.

"After an exhaustive search of our customer database I could not find any record of the customer with this address, nor any service calls to this address under any other name. I do show two service calls for a person with this name, but not this address. These calls were in 9-22-2006 & 7-27-2007 for a total of $ 604.00 and were to clean the indoor unit, repair a freon leak, and add freon to the system.. B&D Heating & Air Conditioning Co. strives to perform work in a profesional manor. Our Tech's receive factory training many times each year. In addittion to in house training. A few of the Tech's have been with my company over 25 years. Should you (member), have any problems, please give me a call and we can look into your complant, as I have no records of ever serviceing your system.
