In November 2008 I decided to get spray foam insulation through WIlserv figuring they were repuatable since they advertise on wwl.  I was excited about the spray foam insulation until the workers showed up.  One of the workers quit half way throught the job, and the other fell through my ceiling.  Wilserv did repay me for that damage which was substantial.  Since the spray foam was installed I was having problems with my hot water heater, the pilot light would not stay lit, also i was having a burning sensation (similar to when you cut onions) in my eyes every once in a while. FinallyI noticed the paint was peeling/bubbling on the door leading to the hot water vent.  When i opened it i was blinded by the fume build up.  I then called a plumbing company, After they investigated the problem they informed me there was spray foam over my hot water heater vent preventing the fumes from escasping.  After the plumbing work was done i called Wilserv, at first it seemd there customer service was going to help after i sent them a invoice and picture of the damage.  Instead they gave me the run around,  dodged my calls and emails. At this point i will be going to small claims court to hopefully recoup my money i had to spend on the plumbing.

Doug Wilson came to my house to advise/estimate on a moisture problem causing sever mold/moisture in a room above a garage. I stated I wanted all cracks, wall spaces, etc filled with closed cell spray foam (based on information he gave me regarding efficacy of the different types in an extremely moist environment). They showed up two hours early, when I was not home, did not fill in any cracks or open spaces, and stated that it would 'take like an hour to switch their nozzles' so they were just going to use the open cell foam.I contacted Doug for a resolution, and after four phone calls on my part, he said he could come back to fix their mistake, and charge me another $750 in doing so. Thus, he did not get paid, will not get paid, and I will find a competent company to fix their ridiculously shoddy, lazy work. It is hard to believe this type of company can continue to exist. Stay away!

PS-they are affiliated with or owned by Wilserv in Covington.
Response from Wilserv
"We realize that a satisfied customer is the lifeline of any business therefore we have tried to make solutions to come to a satisfactory agreement with this client. She signed a contract for open cell spray foam in her attic. When the crew arrived at the jobsite they were advised by the homeowners contractor to install the open cell spray foam as specified in the contract, which had her signature on it. After completing the job the homeowner refused to pay Wilserv."

One day they came and removed all the old fiberglass insulation and prepared the area for the foam insulation. The removal of the old insulation was not mandatory, but I thought it might be best since it was starting to break down.  I didn't want it to be sucked into the living area. The next day they came and blew in the insulation. The venting was done a couple of days later due to my schedule. I am very pleased with the work. I have already seen a significant improvement in the temperature of the house.  The air conditioner runs a lot less than before. I recommend them highly.
