, Called Reed Appliance on Monday morning after Whirlpool refrigerator died over the weekend.  Repairman came to the house within 3 hours of placing call.  Diagnosed problem of thermostat, called in part to local part center and it would be delivered between 8 and 9:00 the next morning and he could come back to install it then.  I had a scheduling conflict and called him when I was available the next day around 2:00 in the afternoon and he was at the house within 1/2 hour to install the part.  Took about 15 to 20 minutes to put it all back together, check it out and he was off.  Very efficient.  Would definitely use again.

Repairman came within a few hours of my phone call and discovered water filter had cracked and was leaking.  He changed the filter and solved the problem.

I called Mr. Reed to repair my GE refrigerator. He returned my call promptly and ran me through some trouble-shooting and diagnostic questions to hone in on the problem. He came out the same day I called and was able to repair the fridge by the next day. My wife indicated that he was very professional and courteous while in our home. I would definitely recommend his company.

Mr reed was prompt courteous and professional. He found a leaky hose and replaced it the same day.

Fantastic, always allowed us to bring equipment last minute, quick repair turn around time. Polite crew, helped get the equipment in/out of my car.

Reed came at the appointed time. He quickly saw that the fan was not working. He tested for power to the motor and to the compressor. Once he determined that both had power then he started the compressor to ensure it was still working. Then it was a matter of taking out the fan motor and replacing it with one that he had in his truck. Fortunately, he carries the commonly needed parts with him. Upon completion, he stayed for a short time to ensure that the compressor once running again was continuing to run.

Reed arrived promptly and quickly unstopped the drain. He showed me what to do in the event it should ever become stopped up again so I could fix it myself. Last year he repaired my washer and was likewise prompt, courteous and reasonably priced.

Mr Reed replaced an auger motor on refrig ice dispenser, and replaced an igniter on my gas stove top. Parts cost; stove $38, refrig $156. Labor cost $120 ($60 each). I was very satisfied with the service.

Mr. Guidry got back to me right away and came to look at the freezer the next day. He had to order a part and came back to install it a few days later. I have used Mr. Guidry for my appliance repairs for twenty years, although I have mostly new appliances now, so this was the only call in the last couple of years. He was prompt, courteous, and fair priced as he has always been in the past.

I thought, the guy was a really nice, white gentleman. He has message service where I left the message on, and he was very prompt in returning the call. He also asked me with the refrigerator problems, and he told me to go to my refrigerator and do certain things to troubleshoot before he would come and charge us. We really didn't know what we were looking at, and I called him back and I said, "Listen, come on out." He was trying to do preventive maintenance over the phone to avoid charging us. It was really a good attitude. He did come to the house, and we have to get a new refrigerator. He was still very helpful, and I would recommend him to anyone. In addition, his pricing is very reasonable. I would most definitely use him again in the future.

The fridge stopped cooling. At first we were considering getting a new fridge expecting the compressor was bad and the repair would run 500-800. After shopping for a new fridge costing and gt;1000 we decided to check Angie's list for a repairman and an estimate. Reeds was near the top with an A rating. We called his shop only to get an answer machine. Mr. Reed called us back within 30 minutes and was in the area. He arrived within 10 minutes of the return call. He said the problem was most likely the relay/capacitor and was correct. After replacing the items the fridge was running. The service call and parts were only $125. We are completely satisfied with this service provider.
