PRO SOURCE OF MANDEVILLE

The issue we have is in regard to the slate. Prior to ordering, Salesperson Flattman confirmed that the slate was of good quality; together we viewed pictures of the slate online. We requested and received samples of current stock-beautiful color, uniform thickness, normal surface irregularity. The order clearly indicates we requested gauged slate which is more uniform in thickness. The slate that arrived was inferior and substandard, having no similarity to the samples we received-very irregular in thickness, chewed surfaces, brittle, sheeting, poorly cut, odd color variations. The variance could not be attributed to 'normal' variation of natural stone and the problem was widespread, not limited to a small percentage of the order. We visited with manager Eric to view the remaining crates of slate. We agreed that we would try to salvage what we could and return what remained. We used perhaps 1/3 of the order on bathroom floor and it looks unsightly. The contractor has spoken to Pro Source and received partial credit of $675.00. According to my calculation we are entitled to twice that amount. I have emailed the salesperson and gotten no response. I have faxed Eric requesting to meet and gotten no response.
