I had been doing my own pest control spraying inside and outside the house but obviously it didn't work. Signed up with Ja-Roy and haven't had a problem since! The technician/part owner of the company who performed the work explained everything in great detail and was fast as well as very helpful.

1st visit after we agreed to renew our contract Ja-Roy came out and started ddigging a trench around my foundation before they even knocked on the door and left most of the dirt scattered in my yard and stompped my wifes flowers, told my wife they were going to have to cut holes in the walls and kept adding the number and locations of holes they would have to drill in my house and through bathroom floors without having anything in writing. My wife wasn't comfortable with them doing all of that when we had no idea they were goint to have to cut holes in my walls to access plumbing under my tubs and that they were also going to have to drill through the tile floor to treat the ground under the shower pan.   My wife called me at work upset and I told her to put the job manager on the phone. I asked the Ja-Roy job manager to explain just exactly what they were doing and why. He told me (with little detail and no explanations) what they were going to do.  I asked them why wasn't I informed they were going to have to do all of this? The job manager couldn't answer my question. Where they wanted to drill into my tile floor, there is a big possibility of water lines running in that area of the slab.  They told me if they hit one, they were not liable and I would be responsible for the damage.  Outside of the house, my foundation is easily 9" high at the location of this shower where the shower butts up to an outside wall. If they drilling through the floor, they are over 38" away from the shower pan drain line.  If they drilled from the outside foundation skirt, they are less than 18" away from the drain line and they don't have to screw up my tile floor.  He repeatedly said they couldn't do that, but then couldn't tell me why they couldn't.  I told them I was going to have to do some research and I also wanted a written statement of work and options if I refused to let them drill through the floor. i told them to halt what they were doing and get me the information.  We rescheduled them for 11/5/2014.
2nd visit, they showed up and immediately began re-trenching a ditch around my house before even telling my wife they were there and again, pulled up my weed barrier cloth a foot away from the house and then threw dirt all over my cypress mulch and again, stompped and broke week old flowers we had just replaced the last ones they destroyed with.  I arrived just as they were digging in the back yard and again, having not provided my wife with any paperwork outlining their plans.  I found the job manager and took him inside and then showed him the wall outside the shower and I again argued about the issue of the bathroom floor drilling vs. drilling outside to treat the drain area of the shower pan. His patent response to everything I presented was "It's not our policy".   They then informed me that they were also going to drill INSIDE my house THROUGH my Oak Hardwood Flooring along 3 - 24' walls every 12" or they couldn't "Warrant the Contract".  I told them this was the first I had heard of this and they were NOT going to drill INSIDE my house and especially not every 12" and definately not through my Oak Flooring!  I asked where the work order was that I had requested the frist time and demanded that they at least supply a document that spelled out what would and what wouldn't be covered if I refused to let them drill inside.  His response was that if they didn't drill the inside, they wouldn't cover any of the job.
At that point, I told them they were wasting my time and to pack up and leave.  They half replaced dirt (most of it was scatterd and not even half the trench was filled back up) and they did not put the weed barrier back down but simply left it folded over and kicked the mulch back towards the house and generally left the outside a mess.
I cannot believe how unprofessional this bunch was.   If they have to do all this drilling, how come it was not disclosed in the initial conversation when we agreed to let them do the renewal and retreatment or during the initial vist or as I requested before the 2nd visit?  I called the office and asked to speak with the owner, was connected to a job manager who could not tell me anything because "the guy on site had the file on your house" and he couldn't tell me anything.
Still waiting for an answer from the Owner of Ja-Roy...

It is now March 27, 2015 and after multiple phone calls to their office requesting someone call me back about the horrible experience I had, I still have not had a single attempt by them to contact me to explain their actions or how they left my yard and home.

They came when they said they would. They provided an estimate and came back and treated my house for termite prevention. No surprises. Everything was smooth.

As stated above, Rodney re-treated the houses for a great bargain, $50 bucks. As always, Rodney or any other technician was/is punctual, professional, very friendly, and honest. All of the tenant houses stay insect free after a spraying. Also used them for a mouse problem in one of the houses and they took care of the problem. I would highly recommend the company to everyone.

Thank God I don't have pest here. The guy said, "well, I am really busy I don't know if I can get you today", but my termite guy said, " No, I will get him to get you today". So, he came and laid all the traps and everything else. I had a whole in the wall for a dryer vent, but there was no dryer vent. So, they were coming into the water outlet and going in my dryer vent. That is how it got in, but there was only one. I woke up and the mouse trap and everything was gone. He said, "I can't really set them because he is already afraid of traps now.", he left the big sticky. He said, "we'll just put them down and let them get used to them and then we will set them in the day". My contractor found them in the garage and killed them, but two days after that I saw the mouse trap in the sun room had been turned upside down. So, they were in the house and I saw these little black things all over the floor.

It went excellent, I've been using them for over 10 years and would highly recommend them. I've never had any problems or pest-control issues since I've started using them.

Ja-Roy Pest Control are very, very good. They to schedule with you at a convenient time, if they have to come inside. They're very, very flexible. When they're outside, they go ahead and do what they've got to do. The leave notes outside to you if they do anything. They call you if they need to talk to you for something. They're very friendly people. They give complete pest control, top to bottom.

The representative was very professional and friendly. He arrived on time. Answered all my questions and helped set up outside treatment for this week. Showed me every where treatment would be placed and how it would be done. Even took care of the inside of the house today because of my travel arrangements. I was extremely impressed with the whole experience.
