I called in the morning and Mark was at my house that afternoon after just a couple of questions over the phone. He was right on time, polite and he worked very quickly to replace my faulty thermostat. He also checked the ductwork and heating/A.C. units in general to make sure there weren't any other problems. He was fast and efficient. The cost was very reasonable. We will definitely call on Drinkard again!

I received two bids to replace the equipment. Both companies did on-site inspections prior to submitting bids.  Both companies identified the same work that needed to be done, e.g., build new plenum to accommodate new system, removal of old furnace and AC parts, replace and test component parts, etc.  Drinkard A/C came in between $200 and $400 below the estimate from the other provider.  Furthermore, the Drinkard AC system was more efficient (15 SEER) than the competitor (13 SEER).  I was completing some work of my own, so I requested that Mark Drinkard contact me after the 19th of March to replace the system.  I was contacted on the 20th of March, made an installation date beginning the afternoon of the 21st, and the work was completed on the morning of the 22nd.  The system was tested and appropriate safety assessments were made to ensure that no gas leaks were present (the furnace was a gas furnace).   Mark reviewed the information from Carrier for going on-line to register the equipment so that my warranties were guaranteed for 10 years rather than 5.  When Mark left I went on-line and completed the registration in about 20 minutes.  I was very pleased with the overall job completed by Mark Drinkard and his assistant, Steven.  They also performed a system check on my larger 3-ton unit that had been installed 2 years previously.  In addition to the cost savings I experienced with installation of my new system, periodic system checks and service calls will be more reasonable with Drinkard A/C than the competitor group.  Not only was I impressed with the actual installation job, I was also impressed by the fact that when I first contacted Drinkard A/C, Mark was attending classes in New Orleans to keep abreast of changes in new equipment and state installation and service requirements.  I have had the chance in the month of March to use both the A/C and heating systems and both are working as expected.

 We had our 20 year old heating & AC system replaced by this company.  We called them to come out and inspect our system and they were very prompt to respond.  Someone came out within a day of our phone call.  They were very professional when they came out and checked out our whole system and came up with a price.  Once we agreed on the terms, they set up an appointment to come out and do the installation.  They were very quick and efficient in pulling out the old unit and hauling it away and installing the new unit the same day. They cleaned up after themselves and there was no mess. I was expecting a 2-3 day turnaround time, but to my amazement they were finished before the end of the day!!  The price was excellent and I was very impressed by this company.  It's been one month and we are now enjoying the cool comfort of our new  A/C system.  I highly recommend Drinkard AC & Heating and would definitely use them again.
