My wife's A/C went out in her 2007 Suburban. We called up George at Auto Tech to see if he could change the oil, take a look at the A/C along with two of our windows that weren't working. We dropped it off the night before and George began diagnosing the problem the next day. Based on the age of the vehicle, we were expecting that it was something major and the the entire A/C system would have to replaced. George called me around noon to let us know that he found the problem and was in the process of fixing it. It seems that one of the wires to the compressor got caught on something and broke. George soldered, applied heatshrink to the wires and secured them out of the way so this would not happen again. While looking under the hood he noticed that our A/C belt and another belt (original belts) had some bad cracking in them. He called back with a very reasonable quote and we asked him to move forward. We picked up the vehicle later that afternoon and everything was working great. George is very honest and good at what he does. We will be taking our vehicles to him in the future.
