American Do All

Very pleased with the fast service and expertise of American Do-All Repair Service. Needed my water heater checked as it wasn't working properly. They were able to come out the same day and accommodated my schedule. Kyle was very courteous and professional. Together we determined my best option was to replace my 30 year old water heater with a new one. I was able to return to work until later in the day when they were able to obtain my new water heater and return to my residence. I was back in business with hot water in less than 2 hours and they removed the old one. Couldn't ask for better service.

They came out the day I called them. They did a great job. They had to order a part on Friday and came back on Monday the day the part arrived and installed it.

The employees were prompt and professional. Fixed my two leaking toilets. One was leaking slightly the day after, I called and it was remedied quickly and at no cost to me.

Their service was excellent! I called at 8:00 AM, Kyle arrived before 11:00 AM and the leaky toilet was repaired before noon. Kyle was very polite and he left my bathroom as clean as he found it. I recommend American Do All very highly and will call for their services again.

They were in and out in 20 minutes. They were great! They knew exactly what needed to be done and the bill was like $30. They stand behind their work.

They were very responsive & on time. I was very happy they got things done in short order & cleaned up the work area.

Called American Do All as third estimate. Arranged a time to come and view issue at convenient time next day. Arrived on time. Discussed issue. Obtained estimate next day. Price was lower than other estimates- but other estimates were to trench pipe for much longer distance so not comparable. Decided to run sewer line under raised house for most of run, then trech to tie in. This by passed much problem of digging is clay soil filled with large live oak roots.
The work was completed on day as scheduled.
After left, realized the kitchen drain had not been connected- this was an oversight that was not apparent at first because of odd location of kitchen drain to original sewer line. Called American Do all back up, the plumber was back at the house within an hour of call. The item was fixed less than an hour after that. Impressive.
I'd use them again.

My rental property had the AC go out in June 2012. American Do-All performed a service call and they billed me for $185.00, I believe for Freon only. A month later the same problem recurred, and with some hesitation, I called them to return and sort it out. This time they convinced me the problem was solved, added even more Freon, and I was billed $275.00. They recommended changing the evaporator, which to this day has not malfunctioned. THE VERY NEXT DAY, the system AGAIN was not working. I have a brain in my head, so I was not about to bring this same company out again to NOT fix it. I called Energy Masters, who told me that the system was severely and dangerously overcharged, and the solution was just a routine electrical part. Energy Masters changed the part within an hour and everything has been working great since. I provided American Do-All with the name and number of the serviceman who found the overcharged system and fixed my problem, hoping that they would see the situation for what it is and do right by their customer. Despite Energy Masters being a licensed and respected company, American Do-All insisted on having the other company’s invoice or they would not even hear my complaint. I assume the owner didn’t even bother talking to the serviceman about the job.
I did a chargeback on the repair work with my CC (not an AMEX unfortunately, who are more favorable to consumers). American Do-All fed them a line of BS and the charge stuck.
I am an engineer and have a working knowledge of HVAC and many other mechanical systems. this company clearly did not perform the necessary troubleshooting to determine the cause of the problem. they just put a VERY temporary bandaid on it and moved onto the next job. they were a waste of time, were untruthful during the CC dispute...horrible experience overall.

The entire experience went very well and I would gladly call them again. After a week end of wet towels and a messy bathroom I was very happy to see a good ending to a very unpleasant beginning.
