I would give Drainage Plus 10 stars if I could! Troy was recommended to me by a very reputable civil engineer in this area and it is easy to see why- their work is excellent, their team is extremely hard working, and their prices are very fair and reasonable. Troy always responded quickly and courteously to all my questions and the whole team went above and beyond on my drainage project (they built retaining walls, installed drainage pipes and dug drainage ditches). I would highly recommend Drainage Plus to anyone in need of drainage solutions.

Troy was recommended to me by a person from Nextdoor. I could not have been more pleased with the work Troy did. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional, punctual and performed the job as he said he would. It was hard for me to imagine how my patio would look once he removed several garden areas, poured concrete in a few spots and added french drains but it looks great. I highly recommend him.

He was booked about 2 months in advance, but we were fine waiting. Troy was very personable and knowledgeable. He was thorough in his explanations and was always available when I needed him. I would highly recommend him and his company. My wife was very pleased with how well the crew cleaned up the yard, repaired the flower beds and didn't tear up bushes!

In October 2014, I discovered that the drainage that was installed in my backyard and completed in August 2014 by a local landscaping company did not work properly. As a result, during a heavy rain, water approached my back door threshold. I joined Angie's List in an attempt to find a company that I could trust to correct my drainage problem quickly and definitively. I chose Drainage Plus and I am completely satisfied. Troy contacted my immediately and he understood my skepticism after dealing with a company that installed a drainage system that not only did not work, but redirected water toward my house. He pointed out other potential problems caused by the recently completed backyard project and helped me resolve them. He removed the improper drainage and installed proper drainage in less than 2 days. I have witnessed several heavy rains since then and the system works great. Rain water no longer accumulates in my back yard, no more flooding of my back porch and no more water approaches my back door during a heavy rain. I recommend Troy and Drainage Plus 100% for their honesty, promptness, quality service and workmanship.

He was the best price of three I checked. Work was professionally done and quickly done. It solved the immediate problem. He did exactly what he told me he would do. I was very pleased until several months later there was still a drainage problem which was not addressed. I called and then several months later I emailed. Both times Troy said he would be out to take care of the problem and would put me on the calendar. I never saw him and gave up trying to get him. I do not feel I should track people down who want to do work for me. It is their responsibility. One of the gutter attachments has cracked and split open. I had to tape it to keep the water in.

The crew showed up on the date scheduled and got the work done in a single day. It has been over a year now since the French Drain was installed and everything is still working great.

It was done exactly as described and as I expected. Left my yard neatly and I was pleased.

Right after he installed, we had plenty rain to test out the new drains. They worked out perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

We paid a deposit for 1/2 the entire job (driveway and drainage), and per our agreement and their schedule they came out in three weeks. The drain portion of the job went well. The work was performed in 2 days with few problems, there is a missing piece of drain cover that to date hasn't been installed and the soil over the pipe running through the yard has sunk several inches, unsightly but the drain functions-fine. Troy wanted payment for the drainage upon completion saying it was 1 of 2 separate jobs. The driveway - oh boy. We paid a deposit for 1/2 of the entire job including driveway. Upon completion of drainage work he told me "his" bobcat guy would be out in the next couple of days to remove old driveway. 2 weeks later I came home to find a guy measuring to bid the job, not "his" guy. There aren't enough characters to describe the remaining delays some legitimate, some not. A month later a guy did show up, parked his bobcat and trailer in middle of the yard for 2 days and did come rip up the driveway and half the yard. He didn't have clear instructions or oversight so he failed to remove a portion of the driveway and didn't properly grade it. He was to come back and finish but as of today he has not appeared.
1.5 months after completion of the drainage and having been told it would be a 1-2 days for the driveway to be finished and it's not done-calls have not been returned for a second day and we are moving on to another contractor. When Troy originally bid the job I told him I needed to do the driveway first for home insurance purposes and we would do the drainage next. He told me he could do the driveway and was quick and professional in producing the bid. My feeling is that this is exclusively a drainage company and they're good at that. He shouldn't have agreed to do the driveway, he didn't have the crew to do it and he set up false expectations and was unable to deliver in a timely and professional manner.
If he'd only done the drainage his company would score a low A, however this driveway fiasco rates an F so D is the overall score from me.
Big mess, big hassle. His bid for the driveway was comparable to others but I thought it made sense to have 1 guy do it all, and he seemed honest and professional, my bad - trying to save myself a step cost will ultimately cause me three additional ones.

They dug a trench to bury a drain line running to the edge of my property. The work went fine.

All went as scheduled. Troy and his workmen were prompt, pleasant and professional. Every thing was done neatly and efficiently. The workers very carefully protected my plants and disturbed the yard as little as possible. We could not be more pleased with the results. I would hire this company again. Of all the bids this was right in the middle yet was way above the others in professional knowledge and planning for the job.

The work was completed timely and efficiently and I would hire Drainage Plus again.

They did a great job. They were prompt and their quality of work was excellent. They did a great job in giving me the information and the quote. They did exactly what they said they'll do. I was very happy with their services.

I live in the Garden District in an old house and every time it rained I had to put my rubber boots on and it would take days for the water level to drop. The underside of my house would also remain inundated with water for weeks and was actually never really dry under the house.
So we had our first rain since we had the drain installed and it was a heavy one. I walked out side and there was no water build up anywhere in my yard! I didn't even have to put on rubber boots. It is incredible.
Troy was very nice and stayed at the job site everyday. The men who were with him were very polite too and worked very hard. I always knew what was going on and wold highly recommend them to anyone.

The first time we had a big rain my house flooded again. They told me that they would have a 1 year warrenty on their work and within 3 months I had a problem. I called them immediately and they said they would send someone out. Noone ever showed up. I have sent messages and still haven't gotten a response.

They did an excellent job! Very high quality work! The work was performed quickly and promptly. They also stuck to their original quote which was appreciated. For the price, I paid half down and half upon completion of service. I had no qualms against putting half down as I got their name from a great recommendation.
