I called ahead then went over, there were three clients ahead so I went to the car, read, and walked the dog while waiting. When it was our turn we went in to see Dr. Lambert. As usual, we had his complete attention, he and his assistants were all very polite and considerate. Dr. Lambert gave my pup her first heartworm treatment and told me which one to purchase for the future. I love this vet. He is a wonderful diagnostician, he is kind to both the people and the animals. He looks at the whole animal, not just a part that is having trouble.
Don't, however, use this clinic if you're looking for new, bright or high tech. They do not do appointments, just call to say you're coming and go wait in a tiny waiting room, or your car. But the experience of the vet, his ability to look at an animal and tell a lot about it is extraordinary.

They do a great job, they really take care of my dog. They listen to what I have to say about my dog, and they take care of it.

I took my Afghan Hound to Dr. Lambert on the recommendation of a friend. I am very grateful to her for introducing me to this wonderful vet. He was the 6th vet to look at my dog, and the first to actually LOOK at the whole dog rather than his skin. He took one look and told me what was wrong with him. The tests confirmed it.Dr Lambert's experience far exceeds that of most other vets I've dealt with. He takes all the time needed to examine the pet and takes the time to explain the situation to the owner.Don't go if you want sparkling new facilities, a load of fancy equipment and multiple vets. You see only one, but he's the best. He does not take appointments, but you can call ahead to find out how many are signed in ahead of you. I will use Dr. Lambert again.
