Auto Service
It's an independent shop and they are pretty good. They tell you exactly what's going on with your car and they are straight-up about it. They're not really fast, but they are thorough and that's what counts because they get it right. If it's something that doesn't really need fixing they are going to say not to worry about it right now, like with the shocks on one of my older vehicles. The struts on that vehicle are starting to get a little foil on the outside, but it's nothing significant. It rides a tiny bit rougher, but I've always driven it a little under the manual and I like it like that because it's a little sports car that I fun with. They told me with the engine light that it's a sensor that measures the air volume going into the injection system before the jets and judders, but it doesn't effect the performance of the car and it hasn't messed with the mileage at all. They then said it the light comes on and off I should take it to the dealership because they will be able to put their machinery on it. It's a Mazda and a little bit more than what they can handle, but everything else especially domestic they are good at. I've used them two or three times for that particular car since I bought it for my daughter three or four years ago. I try to avoid dealerships because they are expensive and way too high. A dealership will charge you $90 to look at your car which is silly, but if you bring it to the shop they'll take a look at it and let you know what's going on with it. I would leave it overnight and they'll call me usually the next day. I've also heard some bad reports about one Mazda dealership that my daughter said was awful because she received really bad service from them.
