Valure Electric

I dropped my annual maintenance agreement prior to Valure closing on 30 April 2011.  I contacted my Master Card Account to stop paying Valure on a monthly basis upon their closing and was still charged for a monthly maintenance agreement for a non existing Company.  By the hardest I was credited with past money paid thru my Master Card to Valure.  I now have a very good maintenance agreement through Doug's Refrigeration in Thibodaux.  They came out and serviced my Generator and did things which Valure over looked since day one of installing it.  I am very satisfied with Doug's, they serviced the heads and valves, changed and gapped the spark plugs to specs, checked the Generator Electrical System.  Tested the fuel sorce and changed out the solenoid and started, which was defective (going into over carnk and would either start/not start).  This Generator thanks to Doug's runs like a well tuned clock. 

My Air conditioner was making a sound - can't quite describe it - but like it was working too hard.  I called Valure at night - got someone on the phone - scheduled an appointment for 8AM.  They were there right on the dot (which I'm not an early riser - so good I didn't get up for nothing)! They came in - I turned on the air conditioner for the sound - he got it....went up took a look at the unit - Turned out I needed to replace a part...I'm forgetting the name of the part. He called it in....they said it'd be here in the morning (the next morning).  Again right on time the next morning - went up replaced the part and my air conditioner is working great!  Happy with the service and I don't think the price was too much at all.  Thrilled it wasn't a bigger problem.

Estimated a job of $2,500 to $3,000 and a 2 days wait time (without AC in the house) to a 4 days and a $6,000 bill. The diagnosis was spot on - the outside condenser had to be replaced - but the price was two times what I ended up paying and I would have had to wait a few days without AC. Promised to call back by the end of the day to let us know about the availability of a similar ac model and we're still waiting to hear from them. The employee was courteous and knowledgeable although he had an "ex-con" look - which don't bother me - and smoked cigarettes on the job.
