Moving day came and just as we had discussed the packing ladies came at 9am they were very efficient and packed an entire house within 3hours, I didn't have to do anything :) Once the ladies were done packing, the loading guys showed up soon after with the truck they were able to load an entire house within 2hours again I was impressed but of course I wanted to save my praises for when we got to our house and confirmed everything made it ok. Once the truck was loaded the driver gave me his phone # and said he would try to leave either that afternoon if not he would leave early in the morning so we could have our things in kansas city the next day. The next morning the driver called me to tell me the exact time he would make it to kansas city where he would have guys helping him unload at our new house also. Just as he promised he was there on time even a little earlier than expected. The guys had everything unloaded within an hour and a half. Everything made it and nothing was broken or lost. I can't say enough good things about the move. I was apprehensive as I have never hired a moving company before and have heard so many horror stories but with companies like Two Guys my faith has been restored. Even though Two Guys is a smaller company their price was highly competitive with the other two quotes I got from United Van lines and Allied.
Thank you Two guys for making our move painless

By 11am, I called & learned my appointment had been accidentally cancelled. First, the owner blamed me for not calling ahead of time. He also did not feel he should compensate me in any way for the inconvenience.
The two movers showed up around 1pm.
They refused to put my bed/box spring in the bags I provided.
They refused to wrap my leather living room set in the shrink wrap that I provided.
They packed my storage unit so poorly, I will have to pay someone else to unpack & repack it.
One mover dragged my leather couch, on its side, across the concrete. And was unapologetic for it.
As we attempted to close the door, the door dragged down the back of my china cabinet, separating the vertical board on the back from the china cabinet. His response was the vertical board isn't really necessary.
Same mover put a properly labeled Dish Pack box on its side, then put boxes on top of it. When I requested the box be placed correctly, right side up, he gave me attitude.
I called & spoke with the owner. He insisted putting a Dish Pack (or any box) on its side is an acceptable practice & had I packed the box correctly, it wouldn't be getting crushed. I didn't waste my time on the other issues, as he was clearly uninterested & unconcerned with my extreme dissatisfaction. We hung up with the issue completely unresolved.
To say this company is shoddy at best is an understatement. I wish I'd never called them.
"[member name removed] signed a contract that clearly spelled out the terms of coverage in very large print. (See attached). He declined the additional coverage and opted for sixty center per pound per item up to 200 pounds. We fixed the panel and the sofa and redelivered to Lafayette. On occasion we repair items (as was the case this time) in hopes of maintaining good customer relations. The item sustained the damage on the redelivery. At this point, we opted to honor the contract and pay the $120. [member name removed] indicated we agreed to do the repairs AND pay $20 prior to the secondary damage. No sensible business owner would do both the repair and pay a damage claim. We did not either. The $120 was for the damage sustained to the couch upon redelivery to Lafayette (200) miles away. The initial damage was so slight that is should have never been returned for repair! It was an extremely mild scuff on the trip that could have been touched up with shoe polish!! He made such a fuss when I spoke to him on the night of the damages that I thought it warranted serious repair. If [member name removed] had opted for additional valuation coverage we would not be having this discussion. Respectfully, David Trahan"
