We had to file in small claims court? they destroyed my marble top dresser valued at $1100, and sliced the back of my couch valued at $800. I called the next day to tell the owner as the business was already closed after my move. The mover couldn't even hold himself up. His eyes were rolling to the back of his head he was so messed up. They screamed profanity so loud that my ex neighbors heard them leaving the last residence ? the owner told me that he didnt have time for this right now, he was late for a doctor's appointment ? he never called. My husband went to the business the following day. He tried to tell us it was marble so it wasn't covered (which was nowhere stated in the moving contract). Finally he offered $120 for everything? we had to file in small claims court.

3 guys showed up who were not professional at all. They seemed shocked at what furniture I did need moved and didn't want to work. Two of them smelled of alcohol. They were lazy to say the least. They moved very slow and broke one of my expensive electric recliners. They also wouldn't take my hanging clothes but found out from someone else they took her mothers when they moved her. I still had so much left the next day to move it took me one load by myself and 3 car fulls from family. I will NEVER use them again nor recommend me them to anyone.

They were on time and everything went as it should.  Even though it was pouring rain throughout the process, it did not seen to affect the attitudes of the three men.  They did not waste time and placed items as requested.  This was a challenging job because I was directing them on which of the two trucks the items had to be placed.  Even at the self storage site, I was directing them on which of the two units each item was to be placed.  They showed no frustration with the bad weather or my micromanaging.

We hired Two Guys Moving to load a U-Haul from a storage unit to our home. We were supposed to have three movers, but only two showed up (late) as the third person had some "personal issues". No attempt or offer was made to get a third person out for the job. One individual was great - great interpersonal skills, took care with our household goods, worked hard and was very nice. The other individual was always in a hurry and spent quite a bit of time talking about possible tips from us and suggesting that if we were going to donate something, we could donate it to him. When we told him two pieces were especially significant and needed to be handled with extreme care, he still treated them roughly and when I questioned him why, he basically told me I didn't know anything about moving. He damaged items and didn't seem to care. I called the office and they have never returned my calls. I don't recommend Two Guys Moving - in fact I recommend individuals not utilize them.

They were great and they adjusted their schedule for our time frame.  They arrived on time, and they delivered everything on time. They didn't break anything and very friendly.

We were moving from Shreveport to Kansas City, I contacted David Trahan for an estimate back in May he came out the same week and gave me an estimate for full packing/loading and unloading at our destination.  My biggest problem I was having with big companies like United Van lines or allied (from which I also got estimates from) they wanted to keep our stuff anywhere from 3 to 14 days and couldn't guarantee a delivery date.   David assured me they have one truck our stuff wouldn't be mixed with anyone else's and he would have our belongings at our new location the day after they loaded.  This was pretty impressive because we didn't want to stay in a hotel for 1 to 2 weeks while waiting for our stuff to come.
Moving day came and just as we had discussed the packing ladies came at 9am they were very efficient and packed an entire house within 3hours, I didn't have to do anything :)  Once the ladies were done packing, the loading guys showed up soon after with the truck they were able to load an entire house within 2hours again I was impressed but of course I wanted to save my praises for when we got to our house and confirmed everything made it ok.  Once the truck was loaded the driver gave me his phone # and said he would try to leave either that afternoon if not he would leave early in the morning so we could have our things in kansas city the next day.  The next morning the driver called me to tell me the exact time he would make it to kansas city where he would have guys helping him unload at our new house also.  Just as he promised he was there on time even a little earlier than expected.  The guys had everything unloaded within an hour and a half.  Everything made it and nothing was broken or lost.  I can't say enough good things about the move.  I was apprehensive as I have never hired a moving company before and have heard so many horror stories but with companies like Two Guys my faith has been restored.   Even though Two Guys is a smaller company their price was highly competitive with the other two quotes I got from United Van lines and Allied.
Thank you Two guys for making our move painless

They were hired to move me on 19 Feb. I confirmed the week prior. They were due to arrive at 9am.
By 11am, I called & learned my appointment had been accidentally cancelled. First, the owner blamed me for not calling ahead of time. He also did not feel he should compensate me in any way for the inconvenience.
The two movers showed up around 1pm.
They refused to put my bed/box spring in the bags I provided.
They refused to wrap my leather living room set in the shrink wrap that I provided.
They packed my storage unit so poorly, I will have to pay someone else to unpack & repack it.
One mover dragged my leather couch, on its side, across the concrete. And was unapologetic for it.
As we attempted to close the door, the door dragged down the back of my china cabinet, separating the vertical board on the back from the china cabinet. His response was the vertical board isn't really necessary.
Same mover put a properly labeled Dish Pack box on its side, then put boxes on top of it. When I requested the box be placed correctly, right side up, he gave me attitude.
I called & spoke with the owner. He insisted putting a Dish Pack (or any box) on its side is an acceptable practice & had I packed the box correctly, it wouldn't be getting crushed. I didn't waste my time on the other issues, as he was clearly uninterested & unconcerned with my extreme dissatisfaction. We hung up with the issue completely unresolved.
To say this company is shoddy at best is an understatement. I wish I'd never called them.

Johnny and Larry showed up on time and were very professional. They took the time to move our furniture with care so that it wouldn't get damaged. They did a great job at packing the moving truck. You could tell they had been in the moving business for a while. They were incredibly efficient in unloading the truck and placed the furniture in our new home exactly where I wanted it. They did an outstanding job and it wasn't even that expensive. They charge by the hour + a trip charge and you could tell they were not going slow by any means. The price above is with tip included and they definitely deserved it for working in the summer heat! They did an excellent job and I've been recommending them ever since.

I used this company in the past and was pleased.  This time was the exact opposite.  The movers did not properly wrap my furniture.  The back panel to my solid cherry entertainment center was run over by one of their wheeled dollies gouging the wood.  They dropped and broke a Christmas platter (they did not tell me that they burst the box and broke my platter.  I discovered it on my own pushed to the side)  To the movers credit at least they did not deny when confronted about the platter, of course they didn't apologize either.  They scratched one corner of my leather sofa.  When I pointed out the damage of my furniture the movers began attempting to contact the owner at his home and cell numbers.  After 45 minutes of no success they left.  About an hour later the movers called me and stated that they were in route to pick up my furniture to repair it and that I would be returned 4 days later.  I agreed and the furniture was transported back to Bossier City. This took place on Monday 10/24/11. ,   On Friday night, 10/28/11, at 11:00 they finally brought my sofa and the panel of my entertainment center.  Because they were not able to repair my panel they brought it back, now also with a damaged corner, and a check for $120.00 to compensate me.  This check was for the panel damage only and  was preagreed upon between me and Penny, an office worker.  The sofa was repaired to my satisfaction except........there was new damage with a large scratch on the  sofa  cushion and also two significant tears to the leather in the back, which will be clearly visible. This damage had been done after the initial damage had been repaired.   I attempted to contact the owner, David, and left a voice mail on his cell phone and at the office.  I also asked the workers to have him call me.  I received no call.  I called the office on Monday morning.  A male that did not identify himself stated he could not get David to return my call but he did retake my information again to provide to David.  It has been 72 hours and I still have not heard from the owner or the office staff.  Clearly this company is no longer trustworthy, obviously not professional and has exhibited clear disregard for me and my belongings.  The very least they could do it to return my calls.  I recommend that you avoid using this company.
Response from Two Guys Moving
"[member name removed] signed a contract that clearly spelled out the terms of coverage in very large print. (See attached). He declined the additional coverage and opted for sixty center per pound per item up to 200 pounds. We fixed the panel and the sofa and redelivered to Lafayette. On occasion we repair items (as was the case this time) in hopes of maintaining good customer relations. The item sustained the damage on the redelivery. At this point, we opted to honor the contract and pay the $120. [member name removed] indicated we agreed to do the repairs AND pay $20 prior to the secondary damage. No sensible business owner would do both the repair and pay a damage claim. We did not either. The $120 was for the damage sustained to the couch upon redelivery to Lafayette (200) miles away. The initial damage was so slight that is should have never been returned for repair! It was an extremely mild scuff on the trip that could have been touched up with shoe polish!! He made such a fuss when I spoke to him on the night of the damages that I thought it warranted serious repair. If [member name removed] had opted for additional valuation coverage we would not be having this discussion. Respectfully, David Trahan"

Disaster struck before half the items were even loaded onto the truck. There were 2 men doing the job, but not working together when it was crucial. One of the men tried to tip and move an antique wardrobe, in pristine condition with it's original custom beveled glass mirror, without first securing the door shut and waiting for assistance. He lost control when the door fell open, breaking it and the mirror in the process. I was assured my furniture would be repaired/restored and the beveled mirror would be replaced at no cost to me. I didn't know what else to do, so the move continued. The end result was that my beautiful mahogany dining table slid during the ride and was damaged, as was my rolltop desk. They insisted on taking my wardrobe with them for repair. I didn't see it again for about 3 months, and it was restored using a plain flat mirror. When I asked about this, I was told that 'Two Guys Moving' was liable only for 'x' amount of money, and would not comply further. Also, it was obvious that these men knew nothing about moving a piano. When my ex-husband realized this, he stepped in to help. Had he not followed the truck to my new home to assist with the piano. I hate to think about what might have happened to both my house and the piano. As a result of this moving experience, the value of more than one piece of my furniture has significantly diminished. I will be MUCH more cautious in my selection process when hiring a moving company in the future.

I previously used 2 guys when I moved from my apartment. They were friendly, efficient, and punctual. Unfortunatley this experience was the complete opposite. It took 3 men 6 hours to move 4 rooms of furniture and assorted items from a 10x20 storage unit located about 10-15 minutes from where we live. These items were still packaged from the original move (including the furniture that was still wrapped from when the cross country movers wrapped them). These 3 men arrived at the location late. It took them more than 2 hours to pack up and get to the house to unload. In that time they took a 30 minute lunch that was closer to an hour - we timed it. They arrive at the house and procedeed to unpack. They had boxes upside down that were labeled kitchen ware. They seemed shocked that we wanted the bed put together. When they finally finished unloading, they looked as us and asked if we wanted them to go get the rest of our stuff. The rest of our stuff included the basedboard and rails for the bed, the top of the kitchen table, the top half of a lateral file as well as assorted boxed and other items. It took them over an hour to return from that trip. In the end a move that was estimated to take 2 hours and cost approx $300 ended up costing $700. Which was a knock down because they attempted to charge us for their 1 hour lunch. The also left cardboard boxes on the side of the house where the truck was parked and half of our items are still no assembled. In short if we wanted novices to move our furniture we would have done it ourselves instead of paying "professionals" $700 to leave the job half done. I am extremely disappointed with Two Guys. I had better expectations.

They arrived late at the house being vacated. They refused to move a number of items. They moved some electronics, but not others. They refused to move any lawn equipment and the glass top of an outdoor table. They had to bring in another truck having said originally that one would do. They decided to leave with their load without telling me they were leaving. I had to call them to find out what was going on. They said that if I was not at the new house when they arrived they would unload my belongings on the front lawn. They broke a cedar chest into several pieces. Part of my artificial Christmas tree was found the next day in the front yard. They took an old tv at the old house and, instead of putting it at the curb as they said they would, they simply shoved it off of the back of the truck in the yard shattering glass everywhere. They refused to move filing cabinets to an upstairs office. I had to call on friends to finish moving all that the movers would not take. And, for all of this I paid nearly $1000 instead of the original $300 quote.

They were very efficient and they showed up with more guys than they originally told me. I liked that, because it made the work go by very quickly. They were very professional while they were around me. I would definitely use them again in the future.
