Red River is a dealer, and they are expensive. It's worth spending the money though, because they guarantee the parts. They are honest, and you don't have to worry about getting ripped off. I will continue to use them in the future.

The dealership had previously worked on it for same problem in Jan 2010 for loss of power. The dealership has fixed the truck, we assume, how ever the extended warrenty was not called in to receive permission to fix vehicle therefore they will not pay. RR is requesting we pay and then request payment from the extended warrenty. I have contacted 8 Chevrolet service reps and all tell me we can't help you it is not allowed. The supervisor, Emily Cox told me she could not give me her bosses name because she was not allowed. We have been sold a bogus warrenty that is not worth the paper is is written on by a Chevrolet Dealer. We bought an extended warrenty from Minden Country Chevrolet that is not recognized by RedRiver Chevy. Bottom line, is any dealership can sale you a warrenty and GM will not make them use it. I am throughly disgusted with GM and their products. So much for their bailout they got money and we all got screwed. RR has our truck and will not release it until it is payed in full.

"The member and his son brought in their 2009 Chevrolet Silverado to our dealership on 8/3/10. they had two major concerns. A) The check engine indicator lamp is on and the reduced engine power indicator is on. B) The air conditioning would not blow cold air. We received the authorization from member to diagnose the concerns, after diagnosing the concerns we called with an estimate for repairs. At that time he authorized the cost of repairs. We performed the repairs which included replacing the air filter, mass air flow sensor, fuel filter, changing the oil and performing an exhaust regeneration. We also replaced some air conditioning actuators to repair the air conditioning system. At no time prior to the repairs being performed was a service contract/extended warranty mentioned to us. When the repairs were completed, we talked to Mrs. to let them know the vehicle was ready. It was at this time that she let us know they had a aftermarket extended service policy. On their behalf we called their extended service policy company and were informed that the customer is required to get prior authorization before repairs are performed and therefore they would not pay us; however, they informed us to have them pay for the repairs and submit for possible reimbursement. We have been honest and upfront with them and did not perform any repairs without their prior authorization. Had we known about the warranty coverage, we would gladly have assisted them in this matter; even though their policy is not sold or service through GM or this dealership. We empathize with them, however, we are only asking for the payment of the services authorized and provided. Joe Rider-Service Manager"

Very well. I had an appointment at 9:00 am and they were waiting on me. There was alot of work to be done and it was ready by 8:00 am the next morning. I have been using Red River Mtrs. for years and the service has been outstanding. I will continue to use them in the future.
