This company provides services in the past. Replaced a fuel part and added a pad. Now 6 months later it will not run. Have attempted 2x to make appt for repair. They say I will be out on a list but are too busy with installation of generators. So apparently they are quick to INSTALL but getting service/repair is difficult. Will not use again!

Terrible company! Installed a new battery and serviced our generac 6months ago and now battery completely dead. Was told this past Friday they were doing an installation and would be out after that. We called at 4:30 that day and the owner was so rude. He said he wasn’t sending his guys out that day after working all day and they might get to us Monday and put us on a list. We agreed with that and tried to be understanding. We gave them my husband’s phone number as well as mine. Monday, we missed his ONE phone call to my husband’s number. When he called the owner, the guy said they had already been out to look at our generator and they couldn’t fix it. My husband let him know we had purchased an AGM battery maintenance charger the previous day from Harbor Freight and the generator was showing it was fully charged. The guy just said it couldn’t be fixed. My husband went about an hour later and tried starting it and it works. I called the owner back to let him know that whoever came out (IF they really did), needs to be fired because our generator is working. The owner said he couldn’t believe my husband had left the top of the generator off after driving out thirty minutes. I was going to tell him that my husband had taken it off that morning to look at it and was expecting them to come, but the guy said “You’re not going to lecture me” and hung up on me. I never got to ask why if driving out thirty minutes was such a big deal then why didn’t anyone knock on our door, ring our doorbell, or call my phone number. We have a lab who barks at everything so we would definitely know if someone knocked on the door. I called back, but no answer so I left them a message explaining those things to them and what an awful company they are on their main phone line. Please don’t use these people. Unreliable, extremely rude, and overall terrible customer service. By the way....generator is working great thanks to my husband and harbor freight! (Unlike what they said).

Selling, installing and servicing home generators is the only business of this company. When I called, the owner, Randy Smith, came to our house to discuss our options and to make recommendations. He recommended a Briggs and Stratton unit with which they have had a good experience in terms or reliability. Our unit had to be ordered from the factory,. Delivery  took about two weeks. Powerup itself handles the installation of the generator, but it contracts out the electrical work and the plumbing to locally owned companies with whom it does business regularly. Powerup actively oversees the work schedule to keep things moving smoothly. Each item in the process was done in turn, with little time lag from one item to the next.
Everything went according to schedule except for the plumbing. The plumber's place of business was robbed over a weekend and their shop was vandalized. This delayed things for a few days, so that the job was finished five days after the completion date in the contract. However, Powerup phoned us to explain the problem. We were not inconvenienced by the delay. Five weeks elapsed from the signing of the contract until the completion of the job.
Mr. Smith had told us that our unit runs more quietly than many home generators, and we found that to be the case. It makes more noise than a home air conditioning unit, but it is not obtrusive.
Powerup offers a service contract which we accepted. It includes a twice yearly inspection and testing of the unit, plus 24/7 service in the event of a problem.
I recommend Powerup Power Systems to persons considering the purchase of a home generator.

I can depend on them. I haven't had any problems and I've had this generator for about 6 or 7 years. It is really nice. It runs everything. Plus, I have a well and if I lost power, we don't have any water. Of course it cost me considerably to install the generator. It is not cheap. It runs everything in my house, my shop and everywhere else.

I couldn't get it to power up after having an electrician wire it.  Power Up came & corrected what had been done wrong & got it going.

I had an excellent experience with PowerUp Electric. They brought four people out to get the job done and finished it in one day.
