Everything went according to schedule except for the plumbing. The plumber's place of business was robbed over a weekend and their shop was vandalized. This delayed things for a few days, so that the job was finished five days after the completion date in the contract. However, Powerup phoned us to explain the problem. We were not inconvenienced by the delay. Five weeks elapsed from the signing of the contract until the completion of the job.
Mr. Smith had told us that our unit runs more quietly than many home generators, and we found that to be the case. It makes more noise than a home air conditioning unit, but it is not obtrusive.
Powerup offers a service contract which we accepted. It includes a twice yearly inspection and testing of the unit, plus 24/7 service in the event of a problem.
I recommend Powerup Power Systems to persons considering the purchase of a home generator.
