 + -1 moreService is good, I think they are too expensive for what you get. I am going to look around for another cleaners.
Description of Work: Dry cleaned 4 pairs of mens slacks and washed and light starched 4 mens dress shirts.. I think they are too expensive for what you get.

 + -1 moreI have used Porters on Southfield Rd in Shreveport. They are expensive so I only take my best clothes to be cleaned there. A couple of times I have had items returned with a button missing....a problem because they were covered buttons that matched the fabric. Nevertheless, they are only one of two cleaners that I would take fine items to be cleaned. I have no experience with the stores in BossierbCity.
Description of Work: I have used Porters at other locations in Shreveport and not in Bossier City. I wish Angie's would allow you to differentiate locations in reviews.

dry cleaning
 + -1 morewent well. Porters Cleaners all over a portico drive thru. When you pull up... some one rushes out to get your items.... when you return to pick up... they run out and get your name or order number and come right back with you garments! they will go inside and do the paperwork if you prefer to use a debit/credit card ... return for you to sign! so you are out of the weather... and you never leave your vehicle. ==and gt; see comments under 'services performed' to get full description of services!
Description of Work: I have used PORTERS for 30-35 years! There price is a little higher than others in town .. but, sometimes you get what you pay for the saying goes! The experience I have had with PORTERS has always been so good ... it just seems they can get stains etc out better than any of the others year locally! I have never had the need for continual dry cleaning like those that drop off their work clothes regularly. Have always had an occasional dress & our heavy coats and from time to time a special need. This last time I used them was for a "LETTER JACKET". Our daughterNlaw was in band 15 years ago & well her sister came across her old letter jacket & happened to mention it to me.... i asked her NOT to tell her sister, that i would like to get it cleaned & then give it to her! So she mailed the jacket from Kansas City and I promptly took it to PORTERS on arrival. you can imagine what we were up against with an old wool & leather jacket that had been in a box for 15 years!!! First thing the girl did when I asked about getting it cleaned was look over the entire jacket and state: LUCKILY THERE ARE NO MOTH HOLES.... SO I GIVE IT GOOD ODDS OF COMING BACK TO GOOD CONDITION! three days later they called & said it was ready! When we picked it up... i was AMAZED at how great it looked!!! Reds fade so bad... but, it was back to COLOR! and all the white leather was so clean & supple again!!! just to wrap up the story here... we decided to wrap it up & put it under the Christmas tree FROM SANTA! needless to say: MANY TEARS OF JOY Christmas!! 8-) before that event, in summer I had taken a WHITE dress of one of the grandaughters there to clean. When the older one wore it for a wedding... evidently she had dribbled something she was drinking down the front of it .. her mom didnt notice it I guess & covered it with a plastic bag... where it hung for 3 years! got it out for the next younger girl to where for a performance... and the front was covered with little brown spots all the way down the bodice and few on the upper skirt. Took it to PORTERS ... explained the length of time the stains had been there ... when we picked it up: YOU GUESSED IT: most were totally gone... & 2 you could still see if you were just looking for them & knew where they were.... but, they were so light, no one would ever notice them with her in motion! hahaha Not only was I surprised, but, pleased as well!! hope this gives you some idea of what this company can do.
