I originally got a bid from one of the "Home Improvement" stores, they came out and did a measurement and a couple of days later gave me a quote. Then, when they wanted to schedule the installation, the quote had gone up about 20%. When I inquired as to why I started getting "nickeled and dimed" for all kinds of charges. So, I canceled the deal.

 

I then went to Ivey's, and couldn't be happier with the customer service, quality, and professionalism. From the time I went into the show room all of my questions were answered, and they actually came out and did the measurement on the same day as the initial contact. They then gave me a rock solid price, for better quality carpet and pad at a lower price than the "Home Improvement" store had quoted me. We scheduled installation for about a week later, and it all went great. The salesman even showed up to inspect the job a few hours after the installation just to insure the quality. All around, great experience, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Ivey's carpet representatives were very friendly and helpful in getting exact match replacement flooring for our home.  We live out of state, but they worked directly with our realtor to get the installation done.  There was a two day delay in getting the carpet delivered, but once there the workmanship was excellent.

Went well.  Im a landlord that lives in another state so I let my tenants let me know and they were satisfied.

It is excellent carpet and it looks great. They were very fast and a very professional crew. The price was excellent and they did it about a month ago. I priced two other places and they were about $200 more. This company was much better on price. I called one day and they came out the next day to do the measurements. They did the install about 5 days later.

Robert came to my home some time in May for measurements and dimensions of what we wanted done. He presented ideas of what would be functional and look nice per my wife's desires. The next day we went to his store to pick out what we wanted. Robert listened to exactly what my wife wanted and gave us several options. (He did not try to push the most plush and expensive because we told him our budget beforehand)  After selecting what we wanted, he ordered what we requested and we put a 1/3 deposit down. He estimated that it would take about 10 days to get it. We had some delays with our remodeling and he ended up holding our stuff for about 6 weeks.( I Appreciate him greatly for doing this.) We finally gave him a Tuesday start date,( I could only have them working on Tues,wed, Thursdays because of my schedule.)  Robert came out on that Monday afternoon to do more exact measuring so all their pre-cuts would be on target. Tuesday he had his 3 guys arrive about 10am and went right to work. I had most of the floor prepped( old carpeting removed) what i had not done he said his guys would finish and they did, they will also move all furniture and put it back at no charge. They had most of the carpet, upstairs and down done by Thursday. They came back the following Tuesday arriving about 9am and installed the tile in the kitchen and 3 bathrooms including the trim molding. and had all the seams between rooms and doorways done. by wed. evening. Wednesday and Thursday he had another crew installing the granite and sinks and doing trim, they finished Thursday except for the back-splash. While they were doing that Robert came out with his son because they had some concerns about the way to do the back-splash. Between them and my wife they decided how it should be done. Saturday morning the granite crew showed up to do the back-splash and by 4 pm had it applied and grouted. Robert Ivey is very professional and concerned with getting you exactly what you want and will work with you. A few days later I had to call him to secure the carpet on a couple of the stairs, his guys were at my home within an hour of that call and made sure all the carpeting was secure on every stair. When everything was complete Robert came out to inspect everything that was done and told us if there is any problems let him know he would take care of them. He saved us over $4,000 as to what his competitor wanted. and came in under budget for us Thanks Robert.

Robert Ivey himself came out to our home and discussed flooring options with my wife and I, Robert is very nice and really knows what he is selling. We visited with Robert at his showroom  and within a short time we were able to pick out the flooring and set dates for installation. I would recommend using Robert over discount or large box retailers. The quality of the products and installation are great, but the fact that Roberts knowledge and courtesy took the stress out of the decision making was invaluable.
