I had taken the truck to another auto repair shop in Bossier and $500 later the problem still existed. Took it back and they 'fixed' it for an additional $1400! Three months later I took the truck to Meineke because AGAIN the air conditioner started blowing hot air. They explained the problem to me (the other place had not) and while I did have to pay them for the repair, it was not an unreasonable charge and it has worked like a top! Meineke is my Forever Auto Mechanic from now on.

This is exactly how you want mechanics to be: 1) they tell you up front the cost involved 2) during the work, they actually invite you into the garage and show you (and educate you) as to what is wrong and why/how it gets like that 3) they actually charge you only what they said they would. I've dealt with many dealership service departments that do none of these things. These guys seem very trustworthy, fair, and even sympathetic to the people who are in a bind and don't have a lot of $$ to spend. Highest recommendation possible.
