Overall, I rate them highly.

My overall experience was good. We just bought this house and there was an alarm system and all that. I didn't know how many keys were floating around, so I went ahead and had our whole house re-keyed. I had a door handle that was coming apart. Something was wrong with it when somebody had bought it. He made two trips to replace it because it kept coming off in my hand. On his second trip he just brought me a brand new one and put it on and I haven't had any problem since. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if I ever should need him.

My son stuck a staple into the tumbler of our front door lock (he was trying to pick the lock) and it got jammed. I couldn't get it out so I took the lock apart and took the tumbler into the locksmith. He had it out in roughly 15 seconds. He then went on to charge me $5.00. I thought it was a little high for the amount of work done but I was happy to just have it fixed. I didn't have $5 in cash on me so I was going to pay with my debit/credit card only the store charges you a fee of $2.00 for any purchase under $10 made with a card. They allowed me to go to the ATM so I didn't have to pay their ridiculous fee. When I returned I tried to suggest finding a new credit card company to do business with if they felt they were being screwed. I told them when I feel like I am being screwed by a company I won't go back to that business. (this was not said as a threat either) But it was like they didn't even hear me because they just started in on me. I was told that I was lucky they hadn't charged me more for their services. They went on to expound about their licenses etc. I tried in vain to get a word in. They had absolutely no interest in me as a customer. They just went off on me. I was polite and nice the entire time yet they couldn't have treated me with more contempt and annoyance. It was a lousy experience. I will NOT be back! On a side note one of them let it slip that the credit card company charges them less than the $2.00 they had planned on charging me! On another side note they also run a flower shop out of the same building. I would be careful about getting any sort of gifts/flowers there since the entire store smells very heavily of cigarettes.
