Green Country Lawn

Most of the long time employees of the Green Country Lawn branch office in Bossier City, La. (main office is in Angola, Indiana) apparently quit in January of 2020 to open an independent, local lawn care business. When I learned most of the experienced employees were gone, I decided to cancel my service and request a refund of the 2020 fees I had just paid in advance to take advantage of a 5% discount offer (what a mistake that was). Over the next three months, I talked several times to three different company employees, including one at the corporate office, who all promised my service was cancelled in the computer and my refund was in process and would be made by several different dates they gave me. They did stop my service, but needless to say, I have never been reimbursed. I cannot speak to whether all the new employees they have since hired are experienced and knowledgeable about the lawn chemical business. I can speak to the way their three different employees mislead me as to my refund. Based on my experience, I would caution any current or potential future customers of this company to not pay them in advance for any work not yet satisfactorily completed.

Starting using Kevin with Green Country last year after i saw how good my neighbor lawn looked. I am very impressed how well my lawn looks after they started treating and it has only been a year

One of the service technicians would call first and then come to the house and treat the yard.  Some of the treatments did seem to make a difference but several made little difference.  The least effective was the reduce weeds in the shrub beds which did not help that I could see.  I requested that the spring application in Feb 2015 not be done, but was billed non the less.
The local office and personnel were professional and did their jobs well.  However, the home office (in Indiana) is very aggressive and uses high pressure sales techniques and considers accounts late after 15 days.

They do outside work on landscaping. I am a widow and was totally taken advantage of. Over priced, did not deliver enough plants as required. Would not follow up with me. Over priced, for work completed. 2 plants that were transplanted DIED. If they are supposed to be lawn and landscape people, they should know how to protect the plants. I told them what to buy, and I paid entirely too much for the very few plants they brought.

I had to go purchase over $ 250.00 additional plants to fulfill my garden.

Would I use them again. NO definitely NOT.

Green Country is a joke. They also over charged me if they were to come spray the green stuff every 6 weeks. I found another individual who will spray for much less money.

They should not be in business.

I have been using them  for over year the lawn and trees have improved in health and look  and continue to do so.  One our trees i got some type diseases and came treated it no charge in no time the was back good health. They do number of our neighbor yards also.  The number of things that take care of is Tree & Shrub Care, Dormant Oil, Deep Root Fertilization, Insect and Disese Control Spray and Post Bloom Azalea feeding.

We are satisfied with the job they are doing so far.
