Description of Work: DO NOT USE! This company, in business for years, is absolutely horrible. Sherri, the woman handling the closing of my house is a shady individual. During the process, we gave her the same financial paperwork over and over again, only to have to resubmit later. Two days before closing she was still collecting "odds and ends" of paperwork...anyone that knows about closing a house, there is lots to do, and this back and forth submitting of documents was unneeded stress. Especially since both my wife and I were in her office a month and a half prior to closing simply for the purpose of providing all the documents they would need. At the time we bid for our new house, we had two others. One we were living in, and one we are renting out. We have a LEGAL two year lease for the rental property, and initially we were given the all clear by Sheri to bid and sign a contract on our new house. Both my wife and I have credit scores above 730 and NO credit card debt, so we kind of expected the process to proceed unhindered. About three weeks before close, Sheri comes back and says that since my tenant is also the real estate agent I was using at the time, that the lease could have been "made up" (her words) to make it look like my debt/income ratio was lower than it actually was...additionally, Fairway issued my wife and I a prequal letter on the new house with no contingencies, then two weeks before close we were told that we needed to close on the house we were living in before moving into the new one...thank goodness we already had a buyer! Dishonesty and incompetence I can get over eventually, but the biggest problem we had was Fairway violated FEDERAL LAW by not providing my wife and I with our Good Faith Estimate within the allotted three day period after financing was secured. When I pointed this out to Sheri on the phone she told me, and I quote, "I didn't send it because you wouldn't understand it anyway." Totally unprofessional!!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!
