We were very happy with Dr. Thomas for a while, even after boarding our dogs and Huey came home having lost a lot of weight (the doctor blamed his food, which whether or not that was the cause, it seems like something the vet would have noticed and taken steps to correct, or maybe call us and let us know and bill us for whatever he needed to do to get Huey healthy again). However after this weekend we will never use him again. Our Huey dog became VERY ill on Saturday and I called his emergency number and left a voice mail. Huey died that evening and this morning (a TUESDAY) his receptionist called me to follow up and when I told her Huey had died she said he got my message Saturday evening. Not only did he NOT call when he got the message on his "emergency" number, but he didn't even call himself to follow up on Sunday or even Monday. Why even have an emergency number??

Dr. Thomas is my regular vet for 3 dogs and 3 cats. I can always count on him and his staff to listen, evaluate, and treat my animals while considering my financial situation.
