 + -1 moreThe first job was started in August, 2006 and finished in October, 2006. This job was a completely new addition to our home and I was very pleased with the job. However, they defaulted on the contract by not reimbursing us for the cost of a steam shower/whirlpool tub unit that we purchased ourselves and was paid for to them by a 3rd party. The cost of that unit was $2,990.00 and is the basis of my complaint on the first job. The second job was started in January, 2008 and finished in February, 2008. This second job was a complete gut and rebuild job on our original existing bathroom. The problem with this job is the quality - the shower floor does not have the proper drop, thereby allowing water to pool at the back, the grout in the entire shower area is cracking, despite having been "repaired" by them once already. These two problems are the basis of my complaint on the second job.
Description of Work: Action Construction & Remodeling constructed a bathroom addition to our home in 2006 and a complete remodel on our existing bathroom in 2008. The quality of their workmanship on the bathroom addition in 2006 was great but the quality of their workmanship on the complete remodel done on our existing bathroom in 2008 was much less than desirable. I have attempted repeatedly to contact them and work toward an amicable resolution of these issues, however, they consistently refuse to return my phone calls, have refused to reply to my demand letter, and have failed and refused to respond to my Petition for Damages that I filed in Shreveport City Court. I have obtained a Judgment against this company and have recorded it in the Parish in which they are domiciled, however, they still have refused to respond.
