I gave him a deposit the shingles were delivered and sat in my yard for 8 weeks-He never returned my calls. When his work crew showed up it was apparent they did not know what they were doing because I had to loan them my ladders to climb on the roof. Over the next 3 weeks, when they did show up they only completed less than half the work. A month passed and no workers or returned phone calls. Out of the blue, a crew of Mexicans showed up and finished the job in 2 days. They had to tear off what the other guys had installed-I had to buy more. The rains came and my roof leaked. Called Lester-no return call from him. Inspected the roof myself and found that there was NO flashing around my 2nd floor eaves, doghouses or windows. Filed an lawsuit and judgment against him. Just got a letter from his lawyer-he is filing for chapter 13 bankruptcy... again. He is a crook, con-man smooth talker. I have heard that he is in a lot of trouble for starting jobs in New Orleans and not finishing them.
