Pete's plumbing came out same day as called and pulled some roots out of the drain pipe on the toilet, cleaned up the mess that cleaning the pipe caused. It only took about 1 hour to complete. I will use Pete's plumbing again if needed.

Both times they did very good work. Under the sink they had to return to complete the project. Both times the plumber knew what he was doing and they did very good work.

I must now give them an overall and quot;Fand quot; rating for poor service, poor professionalism, and unvalidated high prices.
Update 6/17/12:
This is in conjunction with a previous report filed: In all fairness I wanted to state that the valve on my city water meter was broken and the repair had to be done with the water running. However, the issue at hand is that at no time was I told of the condition of the pipes and that more extensive repairs would be needed. Rather, a and quot;bandand quot; was placed around the existing leak. Within a matter of hours another leak occured due to the poor condition of pipe. I would have expected the representative of that organization to have shared with me the need for further work and that the and quot;bandand quot; was only a temporary fix. I allegorically compare this to a surgeon placing a bandaid on a cancer sore, but not telling the patient that he/she has cancer, a much more serious problem. This incident is a and quot;trustand quot; issue which lies at the heart of all Angie's List stands for. Also know that the following contacts were made beyond the original call to the company:1. Multiple messages on an answering service2. Attempt to physically finding the plumber by using a home address found on the internet3. A call to the grandmother of the and quot;ownerand quot;4. Assistance from the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Department5. Assistance from the Leesville City Police
