We sold our house, and one of things we had to do was replace a broken handle on the oven. We ordered the handle and were told it would take 7-10 days to come in. We also had to pre-pay for the part. We called them and stopped by numerous times, since we live close, but it never arrived. They kept telling us to "just check back". After 2 months, we asked for a refund but were told "no refunds of special orders". After 3 months, we did get the handle. I had to go to the new home owners to ask for a 30 day extension, twice. If I had known it was going to take that long, I would have gone somewhere else. If you need to order from them, do not pay in advance, they will not refund if THEY take too long!

He has kitchen appliances, but I don't think he has furniture. It cost a lot, but the price was what I had expected, and it seemed normal to me. It's his standard fee. I don't know of anyone who will come out to my house and take a look at something for free. I don't think he charged me anything extra, because he didn't have to order a new part. He just needed to manipulate it a bit. He was courteous, and fairly prompt. He did what he said he was going to do, and found a way around what might have been an expensive repair. I might still have to do more, but he got it running for me that day. He did a good job.
