The initial paperwork took a while to get done; the lady was knew and really was not comprehending the task of setting up a new patient. Being that this was my very first time here, I did not know that someone would come out and take your pet to get him weighed and take his temp. After I sat down, a tech came out and toon my dog. I followed them back, thinking that we were going to be seen. Nope. She turned around and had this "where do you think you're going" look on her face. I asked her if I was to follow her; she said no. I then told her that she should have said something. I wasn't going to just let anyone take my dog without going with them or knowing why they were taking him. She apologized and that was that. In the exam room, the visit was generic. The vet answered what questions I had. Nothing really out of the ordinary from this point on.

I have been using them for a few years.  They are very easy to get into. They are nice and helpful. They explain what is going on. I like going to them because you can always get in and out fairly quickly. You can get an appointment in the time frame that you need it in. I think they are pretty reasonable and very competitive with other veterinarians.

I went there and they told me I didn't need an appointment. I was able to talk with a vet then and we set up a teeth cleaning for both dogs and I told him I wanted a full blood workup and the thyroid. We set up an appointment for Friday Morning. The same vet I spoke with did the work on Friday.
I felt being able to talk with a vet immediately was helpful and eased my mind concerning the vomiting. I was able to joke with him and felt at ease. There was no feeling of Hey I am the vet and I will see you when I can.

They vets there are all very caring and thorough. They always weigh my dog, check her from mouth to tail, and suggest what needs to be done for her. We have also boarded animals there when we went out of town. My dog seems very comfortable when going in to the office. They also offer a discount for senior citizens if paid in cash. I really like this vet and have been using them for years. I had tried others in the area, and this is the best.

When I moved to this area two years ago, I chose this veterinary clinic for its certifications, the number of vets available, and the fact that I didn't find any serious complaints or reviews of the clinic or the vets. My overall impressions of this clinic are as follows:
1) At first, I was not impressed with the front desk staff. They were very disorganized and seemed to have difficulty answering questions. Although there were two people, they couldn't handle answering the phone, helping customers at the desk, handling requests by the vets, and shuffling pets back and forth. The front desk was total chaos. I almost did not go back after the initial visit. The last two times I've gone in, there's a new face behind the desk (young woman, dark brown hair) that seems completely capable of handling the entire front desk duties by herself. Although they still don't seem to have a good system for handling paperwork, she's good at managing everything at the desk and seems much more knowledgeable when asked questions and takes her time explaining things. Under her direction, the front desk chaos has disappeared. Since I feel records management is still an issue, I think this clinic would greatly benefit from a computerized records system. It doesn't seem to matter if you take paperwork in from previous clinics, upon the next visit, it can't be located and the information doesn't make it into their own records. This happened when my mother first took her dog there when transferring to this clinic early last year.
2) Although I haven't seen the same vet twice, the level of care still seems to be very good. I particularly like that they take their time answering questions, explaining at-home care after visits, and any possible follow-up care. What I don't like is, if your pet is injured during a grooming appointment, they will not call you to let you know. Instead, you find out when you pick your pet up in the afternoon after the groomer has left for the day. You also won't get a clear answer as to why it happened. For me, this is unacceptable and the opportunity for a repeat will not present itself again. I was satisfied that the clinic did provide free care, free medicine, and a free follow-up visit to ensure proper healing. I do understand that accidents sometimes happen, and I'm comfortable with the apology given and the actions the clinic took to resolve the situation at the time. However, I hope that the clinic will reevaluate the decision not to immediately notify the owner of the injury with a full explanation of how it happened.
3) Per the groomer's statement to me, he specializes in Poodles. Although my Poodle's clips have been ok, they are not the quality I'm accustomed to. Forget it if you have a Shih Tzu. He just can't do that one well at all. Here's a list of the injuries one or the other of the dogs have had after grooming appointments: scratched eyeball requiring gel antibiotics for 5 days; clipper or razor burn on the belly; toenails clipped into the quick. The scratched eye was the last straw for me and my mother. This groomer has lost her business for obvious reasons, and I won't allow the list to get any longer out of fear of something more serious happening to my Poodle.
Despite my issues with the groomer, I do like this veterninary clinic and would recommend them to anyone. Considering the horror stories I've uncovered regarding a couple others in the area, I will continue to utilize this clinic. They've done a good job of taking care of my Poodle and me. When an after-hours emergency situation popped up last year, they worked seemlessly with Crossroads Emergency Clinic while handling the follow-up care. They have two locations on each side of town, most appointments are same day with walk-ins welcome, and you can get in and out of the clinic fairly quickly.

My cat was getting fat and crying a lot so I took her to various vets who wanted to charge me to look at her and had no idea what was going on with her without "further tests". Finally I happened upon this place that did a free checkup, and suggested from the start that she could be pregnant, they suggested an X-ray and a fecal test just to make sure it wasn't anything more. It turns out they were right and 7 weeks later she had 6 kittens. They had also explained to me that I should get her spayed soon after she was done nursing. So I took her in and they completed the surgery within a few hours and gave her a pain killer that lasts 2 days. All in all an awesome experience with animal loving professionals.

Brought cats in on Friday by 7:30am. I was able to call after 2:00 to check on them. Picked them up on Saturday with no problems. Each cat had pain shot so it went well.
