There were members of their company that have impressed us and there were members that we've asked not to come back. The office personnel have always been very good and nice but couple of times they sent someone out to do something and they screwed up. They have been very nice. They replaced everything of course you have to pay the labor. They have been very good about replacing different parts; everything is still under warranty which isn't their fault. The builder put in the air conditioning; they won't say it was the cheap air conditioning but he bought the cheapest he could find...that is my opinion. It took them a week from start to finish; from the first time they came out until they ordered the part, got the part in then they have to come back the next day because it still wasn't working correctly so they came back again to fix it.

Sollinger's was recommended by a local acquaintance. I called to ask for an inspection and was able to schedule one right away. A man came out in a company truck, introduced himself, asked if I had specific concerns, and took notes of what I had to say. He then put on coveralls and inspected the crawlspace where our duct work and furnace are located and the units on the outside of the house. He said that all our units were in good working order despite their age and did not recommend putting in new units. He said our duct work was in terrible shape. He described it was as if an animal had nested under the house and pulled down the fibrous 1970's style insulated duct for bedding. He said that the exhaust pipe for the furnace was not connected, thus the heater should not be turned on because CO might draft into the house. He changed the air filters and cleaned the units. When he had finished the servicing and inspection and explanation of what he found, I asked for an estimate to correct the problems. He had another man come out to right up an estimate for the duct work job. The estimate was better than all the other estimates I got in the next few weeks. Plus other companies said I needed all new units, all new duct work, major interior remodeling to accommodate different returns and split units. Because of the huge discrepancies between the various company's inspections and recommendations and estimates, my husband decided to see for himself what needed to be done. He bought a few pieces of hardware and spent 3 days under our house cleaning up the mess caused by the animals. He was able to connect all the disconnected duct work, inspect the furnace, and reconnect the exhaust pipe from the furnace. He also installed a pump to drain condensate out of the crawl space. He says that Sollinger's gave the most accurate assessment of the HVAC system and our needs, and that when our units need to be replaced, he will be calling Sollinger's back to give them the business for being fair and professional on this service call and estimate.

Shortly after the year warranty ended, we had numerous problems. Many of the problems were due to their incompetence (not covering wiring completely, leaving trash in the AC overflow pan). Stay away from them.

Previous customers (over 6 times) then called when Air Conditiioning went out on Sunday afternoon (87 inside) Came out, told was frozen. Next day OWNER came out, now it is expensive and 6,000.00!!! Replaced part as a quick fix, so now have to wait 4 days for part due to shipping! Really - this is your business and you don't have parts?? Going to another company next time that does not have dollar signs in their eyes!

We had a air-conditioning unit to quit cooling. We called they came out the day we called. They found that the fan motor on the unit had quit working, (It took the tech person approx. 15 minutes to find the problem), they had to order a new one, which took a day to get. When he came back to install it he told us it was covered under warranty, (It took only 30 minutes to install) sounds great...right! Until we got the bill! The labor for 45 minutes work was approx. $225.00. WOW I WISH I COULD MAKE $225 FOR 45 MINUTES WORK!!! I will look elsewhere next time for cheaper labor cost.
