We hired Lynn Toler Landscape to do landscaping on our yard last fall. The full amount we paid was $3,429.00 Part of the project that we paid for was to move a fully mature crape myrtle from one spot in our yard to another. When this was done the hole that was dug was too shallow and small to properly plant the crape myrtle. This caused the crape myrtle to fall over and be uprooted in the winter causing the plant to die. I then contacted Lynn Toler and he said that the plant is dead due to the cold temperatures. When I requested that it be replaced to do improper planting Lynn Toler yelled at me and cussed me on the phone and said that we would not replace it. I have pictures of the plant uprooted that shows the size of the root ball and hole that was too shallow and small. He also did not seed the area well from digging up the crape myrtle to move it so now I have that area and a hole where the crape myrtle fell over. This was part of the contract and the plant should be replaced due to his negligence of not properly planting the crape myrtle. Also, a consumer should never be cussed out and yelled at because they request to get what they had paid for.
Description of Work: Tore out old shrubs in front of house and planted new plants/landscape.
