Project went great, as we expected it to. We've hired Handiworks multiple times in the past and we'll definitely do so again! Mike and Nancy do wonderful work and are great to work with, and we couldn't be happier with how things turned out. Our bathroom, which had bothered my wife for years (we had a slab leak, and a rather large and well known local construction company did a subpar job repairing the drywall previously), looks like new. Outside work looks great and it was a great relief to have those issues taken care of before they became bigger problems. Our flooring transitions had been glued down but had repeatedly come loose, and they're now secured firmly into the floor. The project took about 2 1/2 days accounting for the weather (exterior work had to work around some rainy days), and the estimate was very reasonable and the final price came in under that. We highly recommend Handiworks!

Mike and Nancy were great! And so nice!!! They did extremely thorough, organized and neat work. We asked them to install tile we had purchased as DYI project but found it would be too difficult for us. The tile was harder to work with being glass tile but Mike had no problem cutting every piece precisely and Nancy was awesome at laying it beautifully just as we asked (even with some confusion from me and my husband on how to lay it out :)
The project took a week but everyday we came home you would hardly notice they had been there because everything was cleaned and tidied and put away which I think is the sign of very respectful people. 
I will say my husband comes home during the day and they seemed not to want to bother him so they would leave when he arrived which was fine except we didn't mind them working even with him home, just so they could finish it. So I think that was probably the only thing that we would comment on that didn't go perfectly but was still not a big problem. i just called and told them not to worry about his being home and they were fine with that.
We love our tile! It totally completes the kitchen now and Mike and Nancy Dunn are to thank for helping us complete and doing an amazing job!

Mike and Nancy are good folks.  They were so friendly and just went above what was expected.  They truly worked to keep things clean and would work around our crazy schedules.  We found thier prices to be very reasonable.

They arrived on time, got right to work! they did it all to fix my columns! told them if they ever made signs for their business I would put in my yard! they were very professional too. took me through the process after they straightened the columns. showed me where the wood had rotted out and what they were doing to fix them and what they used to patch, seal, and ultimately led to beautiful restored century old columns. I really like what they did. If I need them for any other restoration work, I'll call them.

I was satisfied with their work. They did exactly what I wanted them to do and I didn't have to call them back for anything else.

I would like to have HandiWorks live at my house.  I have an on going list of things I want them to do.  They are fabulous

The first time we hired Mike and Nancy it was to install an electrical box in the ceiling so that a fan could be installed, and the installation of an outlet behind our television (so it could be mounted to the wall without the power cord being visible). From beginning to end we were more than thrilled with their responsiveness, quality of work, and price.
Now we've hired Mike and Nancy for some home repairs that are again just a bit out of our expertise. We're planning on having another electrical box installed in the ceiling above the stairs leading to our basement (for a light fixture), and a 2'-3' section of our wall dismantled and replaced in our basement where we once had a plumbing issue resolved. Mike was extremely flexible on times to have the work done, and was very patient with my wife and I as we considered other work in our home (trust me, we have a long list) -- even offering some great advice.
While we may only see Mike and Nancy once or twice a year for their services, they've almost become like family to us. They're our go-to team for work around the home, and we look forward to using them again and again well into the future.

It went smooth, as usual.  Very professional couple who arrive when they say they will, get right down to it and get it done very smoothly and efficiently.  Whereas most of the time when you have service people come to your home, you just cannot wait for them to leave. With Mike and Nancy, you really hate to see them go. They are cheerful, accommodating and their work is excellent. This is the second time I have had them come to my home and I am very satisfied.

Mike and Nancy were very professional yet friendly and easy to work with. I pre-purchased a pet door that I wanted installed in an exterior wall, in a rather awkward spot in my kitchen. They did a very thorough evaluation of the job at hand before they did any cutting and even had to make a trip to Lowes to get some things for the electrical work. (I didn´t tell them ahead of time that there may be electricity involved). The pet door that I ordered had some really challenging steps to get it installed in the wall but they read the directions until it made sense and did a great job. They also did a great job cleaning up once they were finished. I am very happy with the work that they did and I plan to ask them back next spring to do some other work.

They are just such a nice couple and were very responsive when I had to reschedule.  The job was difficult due to the age of my faucets but they hung in there and got in done in beautiful fashion.  Everything looks great and works beautifully.  They were very neat and tidy in their work.  I had zero clean up after they left. I'd had several estimates and they were very much in the normal range of what I was quoted for the work I needed.
I will definitely use them again as a 30 year old house always needs something done and sometimes it's just more than I am willing to take on.
