Clark County Veterinary Clinic

I changed vets at the beginning of this year because I was not satisfied with our Lexington vet.  I have been very pleased with the services provided by Dr. Castle and his staff.  The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It is a very busy office on Saturday so we usually need to wait awhile to see the doctor, but I don't mind because everyone is so friendly.  Dr. Castle and his staff genuinely care for the animals and it is evident by how they treat them and how the animals respond to them.  I always think the costs are high at the vet, but believe me, it is much less expensive here than it was for us in Arizona where we couldn't get out of the office for less than $500.

It went well. The doctor is pretty nice. We've been going there for 2 years. He did an excellent job. They listen to you when it comes to your pets, they will answer questions if you have any questions about your pet and before they even treat the pet they tell you the cost. Pet care is expensive but it's definitely cheaper than people. Their price is comparable to everybody else. They are pretty reasonable and friendly. They are pretty good about getting an appointments, they have a boarding service, grooming service and you can even set them up for pet photography. They have a full service veterinarian clinic. The ladies at the counter were really nice. We have to wait one time but they didn't make us wait in the waiting room, they made us wait in his room and it had a sofa to sit on. They had a cat emergency, someone got their pet in because it got into a dog fight and needed stitches so we had to wait until the doctor took care of the injury before he came to us. They did place us in a more comfortable room. They are punctual. If you want an appointment at a certain time, they are good at getting you in at that time. They are a little bit more relaxed than most vet clinics.

I have taken my pets there for the last 10 yrs and have always been happy with the service. Dr Castle is a wonderful vet and is very easy to talk to about your pets problems. He has even gone out of his way in years past to check up on my dog when he was very ill at one time. I would recommend him to anyone. They are expanding and have other vets working there now so I dont know much about them but Dr Castle is great and the staff is very helpful as well.

A lot of boarding and care went into one of our dogs, so I felt the cost was justified. Our dogs didn't smell bad when they came home! They always came home reeking when we boarded them at other places.

He takes the time with you and he's excellent with your pets. His staff is great. He makes himself available on the weekends and holidays.
